Btw, has any of you guys (the ones calling for SM nerf) ever played the class? Just curious. I know a certain someone who claimed WLs were incredibly OP, yet he admitted he never played the class.
I dont know about calling for SM nerfs as i was merely using the argument to establish a "standard"

but if Runefang + Emps champ can stack and WoH + HB can stack

Then i feel a fair argument can be made that BO should be able to double stack WS like on live,

becuase:

1. It follows the RoR rules of Ability + Tactic stacking

2. Its a 12 point tactic that is garbage otherwise

The tactic is garbage for sure, but I never got a feeling that it is supposed to apply another buff on defensive target. That's not what I read from the tooltip. The tooltip says: FmL will also buff all groupmates within 30 feet of the defensive target. How can you conclude that you should get a double buff from this I don't know, but maybe my english is not the best.

What would be nice though, is if the WS buff would stack with stat steal. Although it would be really OP if you made it stack with every other buff, like toughness, ini etc., so probably not worth doing it like that.

I'm not sure about all that SM stacking resist debuff stuff. I never played the class, but can I ask, what other class can stack debuffs like that? And I don't mean about morale stacking. (I'm genuinely asking)

well then we love how you miss read everything :D

since no chosen got destroyed by SM just my dok recived insame ammout of dmg due SM be able to nullify spiritual which got immidiatly gear fixed (tactic in reality) still totally nullify 1 resistence is above the aim of any class.

@other , idk what you are talking about, investing point in right mastery till get cd decrease is enough to have wrath of hoeth and heaves blade to debuff 600 spiritual, it just better than go random stat steal where anyway a kobs will provide toughness and so you can have either useless buffdebuff such willp /tough or int/str vs wrong type of enemy...... so no, no correction here.
Be able to kill enemy fast by bursting down beat hands down any stat steal (at least in small skirmish). I can see marauder with 50% from PB and 50% from wep skill + buff be a problem as mara doing pure dmg is not welcome but dont like either SM still gto access to a stupid lol hard debuffing resistence nullifying or something like that As if the SM should even hit harder lol
Basically is like saying BO should be able to stack 2 type of aoe snare camon XD.

I think generally stacking rule are always an issue till staking stuff dont get count to be able to stack and so nerfed to ground; the only reason why you should use a stacking tactic is to get a little more benefith in a certaina area but certain not 2x the effect nor even 30% in increase , like more a 5% or 10%.

Look how gone with Rending blade, a 10% instead a 25% would had been ok and tactic would had been still used. Instead to follow stacking rule and nerf the value according you got change in how it work. I would had prefered differently of course.
especially fixed values creat problem; look runefang (900 stat increase lol?) use low% is definetly better.

Yeah that could defiantly work too, as far as the wording goes, we could simply edit that with the client patcher

Mara is a broken class and PB is a bullshit tactic that has no right existing, espically not on mara

I have upmost faith in my belief that torq will address this class and so dont really want cries of "but mara" to hold back potential changes

Interesting replies. And yes i was well drunk wen posted the thread , opps.
Anyway the real thought was as follows:

Weapon skill giving parry, each parry using tactic (bring em on) to give best plan, best plan giving crit using tactic (gork smash) and more block and parry from tactic (less stabbing me) . To me (okej drunk again ,im on holiday) seems reasonable returns from weabpon skill in a round about way.

That's what I understood and i gave my reply in a previous post.

Basically, nah it's not a good idea simply because that tactic (best plan on parry) sucks. You have much better options.
