"harder classes" e.g. solo dps AM :?:

the diversity we have here is quite more extended when comparing to what it was on live. a lot more classes and setups are viable on a competitive level (6vs6) and they will continue to shine in t4.

i don't see any group running double marauder or double slayer. WL is 100% meta and provides more ST damage than slayer/mrd and he will definitely NOT fall off. The amount of burst potential a WL/WH comb can create is preposterous.

i hope some day the last guy on this forum will understand that the sustain meta of live died as soon as the RoR devs decided to not implement TB and DF/WF gear. so maybe free your stubborn mind and see what setups premades are running on this server instead of inventing rumors.

whether slayer nor marauder will be what they were on live and as soon as the devs will (hopefully) revert the WE nerf we have all melees except the WP being viable.

note: some of them are just not designed for cool no skill/no target bombing and require skill. if people can't stand that fact i have one advice: role slayer and use flurry for big damage!
Spoiler:
the chance to become competitive will be fairly low though

oh and before one starts to argue with open RvR and the fact that it is not all about the 6 man group: to kill pugs, even an engineer is viable and yet i don't see any premade warband fights just blob vs blob. those fights usually end by one side outnumbering the other ;-)

I didn't know i should have documented stuff to make arguments in the future. I bet if the warhammer fourms are around you could find the arguments i was making at the time against those changes.
I mean it's cool to make an argument and all, but when you are positing that the Mythic devs went out of their way to change a plethora of abilities in order to cater to the 6v6 community - you should have something other than hearsay/'my opinion' to back it up as they are pretty big assertions.

@bretin: we'll 6v6 you with 2 x DPS WP and prove you otherwise111oneoneeleventyone )))

who is the second dps wp and what will sekundus play? i really don't believe that he would play a class with no disengage tool :lol: :P

@Bretin: fully agree with you.

Diversity currently is much better than it was on live, it's just the players that choose to stick to the closed-mind setups from Live. My main is a WL, yet often I get negative comments about it and how gimp it is. It is not. Yes, it has some issues related to its pet and too many PVE tactics, but in general is in a solid state. People either just choose not to see it, are wedded to the past, or cannot play the class wel (e.g lol-pouncing either in sequence or into six players and expecting to survive).

Yesterday I was in a pre made with a KOTBS, an IB, a WP, a RP, a WH and my WL. I assisted of the WH due to my burst and higher mobility and within no time my kill-score was on +82 for the session. Now, I am not saying to show how pr0 or l33t I am, but just to state that a WL is not just a viable element of a six men, it's in my opinion a crucial element of a six man.

And that not only applies to scenarios, but also to six man roaming where it's survivability and mobility make it even more useful. In fact, I think that on RoR at least a WH/WL combo outperforms a WH/Slayer one, although it's pet remains it's Achilles heel.

On a positive note, I see a shift in the meta happening. Azareal made some comments about bombing, and there are a lot of discussions happening about single target assist trains. I think that on smaller scale ST remains the viable option, whilst on larger scale fights we will start seeing a hybrid of AOE/ST emerge where AOE provides pressure damage and ST the required burst to push someone into their grave.

Teclis was the first model I ever painted as a kid. Mythic didnt make them a true dps like they ought to be in lore so whatchagonnado. Its just easier to solo than get **** about not being a healbot.

I don't mean to be rude but the non-sense in this thread is over the top. We've got witch elves crying about nerfs that were in-fact bugs... with very limited knowledge about how the class actually worked back on live... spouting off that we have new and interesting metas when in-fact the 6man game is nothing but the same re-packaged 6man meta on live of melee train only. You will find no range introduced here.... the last time that was tried a poor shadow warrior nearly broke his keyboard and mouse crying so hard as he repeatedly hit whirling pin in vein while getting rick-rolled by a flames of fate mara and witch elf using a bugged witchbrew.

The game is what it has always been. ORvR dominated by zergs and 6 man melee trains running only a handful of comps. The vids are all the same... double slayer order groups...slayer/wh ...wh/wl.... or slayer/wl. Destro runs a combo of the three melee classes. rinse / repeat. Watching an NB mara spam rend until its stack count check is reached and then spout about invented rumors is comical. What a bunch of clown talk.

So kudos to footpatrol for at least attempting to "break the mold". Sure it likely won't be the most viable setup...but who cares. Again - don't let ezmode players deter you from trying new things. just my humble opinion of course.

Well looks liek you do...
This kind of bait should be treated the exact same way the inevitable flame post in response will be.
It brings nothing to any argument about HE Bomb (no idea what that even is?) or a WL rvr build.

If you want Footpatrol, I can lend some Elves for this. :D
