I've noticed a lack of healers in pugs and to be honest I'm not surprised.

Why would a healer want to run pugs? He will not be guarded by a tank, he won't be protected when the few players with brains stop hitting a tank and hit the healer and everyone will whine that he's not healing them despite the other players making no effort to work with said healer.

That is wrong. When pugging as healer sc is much more rewarding rp wise than orvr. At sc u have guarantee save spot by your guards and if u manage decent positioning enemy pressure should not be a problem. If other players wont help or protect the healer they will just die, while healer could just kite back to his guards. The problem with sc and healers is that orvr rewards are much more usefull and easy to get than sc reqards. Simple as that
Mostly harmless

data seems fishy, surely there cannot be that many magical casters left in game? :D

That data only states that YOU have a 41% win rate. And that you have a moderately even distribution of archetypes in your matches.

Also a 41% winrate isn't too far skewed from 50% specially when you take into account player skill.

This data highlights nothing towards game balance that the devs control.

These are the statistics of the wins and losses when I entered the scenario solo.
I cannot say that this data is everything, but according to 182 times of statistical data, the Order only has a 41% chance of winning.
As for why Order is weak, according to my observation, as you can tell by looking at the image, Order clearly has more RDPS than DES. The increase in RDPS has been distributed between TANK and HEALER by DES.
Order's chance of winning will probably increase to about 30% with the update of SH :|
Well although a good attempt at getting concrete stats to base discussions on, this data set is not that great as it lacks clarity and pugs are pugs and as such I personally thought a 10% error margin would not be that bad.
Can defiantly say if I measured results with me in it it would look bad for Destro, yes I suck enough in sc to affect the sampling :(
You may want to take yourself out of the equation by getting a few other people (Destro included) to gather stats . That way there is a Chance to get decent data, but remember population balance and timing effect the type of players queueing for sc,s

One day, I thought that Order had few Healers, and became curious as to the balance of the classes. I also found out the winning percentage while I was at it.
Most Order players are aware of it themselves, but Order really has very few Healers and Tanks. When playing in Order, it is extremely common to experience a situation with not even a single Healer. With no Tanks and Healers, DPS cannot do their job properly.
Des has overwhelming popularity in Chosen and DoK, and I think this is a key to the outcome.

Gotta say, on the topic of win chance... there are various players that singlehandedly skew SCs towards either win or loss, irregardless of other factors ~
Whether that'd be DPS that are able to assit properly on the fly, healers or tanks...

Either way, compiling stats for pug scs is beyond useless; there are to many dependencies (through machanics) you can't properly account for... let alone variance in plain skill (as hinted at above) and matchmaking (also: timezones).

On a sidenote, I think a thread almost exactly like this one popped up last year around the same time, you might wanna search it.

How do you count people that crashed or left a scenario and new people joining and taking their place?
In your data Order has significant less people in scenario than destro.

And the amount of data is too low. Mind continuing gathering data?

Thanks for your efforts, was interesting anyway.

This, so much this! I constantly try to explain to people that say they never win scenarios that the only common denominator in all those losses is the fact that they were present...

Getting the players to gather the stats is pointless. The game developers have access (or could get access very quickly with some minor logging updates) and have deeper insights available (level, RR, gear) if they so choose.

It was useful for what it was, a prod to the developers to consider better gathering and analysis. Only they know if they will or not.
