Error Window opening when clicking "Connect."

Hello, Each time I want to play the game, a window pop up out of nowhere and don't let me play... I searched but didn't found anything that could help me repair anything...

I get a error pop up like this aswell. I don't know if it's the same problem as OP, so sorry for hi-jacking the thread.

The game worked just fine 6-8 weeks ago and then this started to show up when I press connect. My guess it must have been tied to either a ROR-update or an Windows update.

* I'm opening the Launcher as Admin
* I've tried the repair feature on the launcher.
* My ROR-folder should be locataded in an "correct" place.
* I've tried reinstalling and tried different hard drive/places for the ROR-folder.
* Tried the solution mention above, but no sucess.

It's really strange! Many friend I played with has stopped since this problem exist and happens for only some of us RoR players...

To me looks like a mouse driver issue, guess from the error log. Could be caused by a windows update breaking the mouse driver.

Might be worth a try to disconnect the mouse and use tab and return to connect, that way at least the mouse driver should be out of the flow.

Else try update driver for mouse /keyboard or even run the mouse as a generic mouse to try narrow down what the issue is

Things to fix this:

-Make sure your windows updates are all done and nothing is pending. reboot after.
-Check from your windows services if your net services are not disabled. enable them.
-Reinstall .NET framework
