Class decision

I want to play a 2h tank/mdps that shats on people 1v1. Ive meddled around with the classes but really can make up my mind. I got a mara to level 30 and felt that you relied too much on debuffs/dots for my taste. Currently enjoying WL also at about 30 but would like something a bit tankier. Similar to a warrior in wow in playstyle, which is if i get on you I can blow you up but I also retain tankiness. Open to playing either side. Thanks yall!

BG/IB for tanks
WH/WE for DPS
You can **** on people on any class tbh, but you need high rr and good gear for that.

Just picked up force opportunity on Wl and finishing up duelist set. I can now damage tanks and finally finish off DoKs. Wl will probably be my main. I also enjoy the sorc because that damage is just too much fun. Narrowed down my tank char choices to BO, SM, or IB still havent made up my mind yet.

You sound like the kind of person who wants to take their chances out in the RVR lake by themselves, would not recommend without at least a dps and healer but here we go. Best choices for you will be IB/BG, why because they have excellent defence/offence capabilities, the only tank with a healing ability thats actually good especially when stacked with a restoration potion. Decent burst potential and when it comes to 6v6 they are very strong as well, i'd put BG above an IB but thats just my opinion. Anyway your gonna struggle a bit with lower renown ranks and not good gear, invest in potions and the speed proc weapon from the t4 epic quest until you get subjugator to give you decent kiting potential.

Go with 2h IB, very good solo class, just search for Volgograd video here in the forum, for 2h IB videos ( solo roaming etc)

You would be right in guessing for this character I would be more interested in small scale fights/scenarios. If i wanted to be more useful in rvr, I would go full tank chosen or kotbs. Ive decided on BG or IB. Visually I think they both look badass, and it seems BG have more disrupt/toughness while IB have more resistances/damage. From what I have seen every 2h IB build looks the same, focusing on the heal, while 2h BG can go for the heal or the crit damage aoe. What are yalls thoughts? Leaning towards BG atm.

Narrow it down to a couple and pick the class you like the look of the most. You'll be staring at its behind every time you play anyway!

You can't go wrong with either IB or BG, they both are quite similar, it now comes down to the appearance Iguess? do you like skinny tall pointy feminine looking elf or rough, bearded short fat dwarf :D.....I know I am biased but I like the look of elf in general, but I play SM not BG :)
