Sentinel Gear, a burning ambition

New gear is in stock and everyone is after it. Vanq set looks realy nice for my WL and since i only play RvR it will be a matter of time to get the full set.

Suddently i hear abour new PvE gear so i go check it. i think 2 pieces of sentinel gear will be a very nice addition in a mix of armor pieces i have in mind (min-max), so i am after it.

However, since i dont play at peak time, it was a bit difficult for me to find a group, took some time to gather but we finally gather. We manage to kill first boss (WT at ship tavern) and then we went for the other boss (WT at bank), there was no way to kill the double rats mini-boss, we try all the ways (that we think) and after 4 hours we quit tired and sad (me at least).
other days i was unable to find a group. now its locking and bb sentinel.

So, is there a posibility to make a merchant selling/trading it with vanq pieces, vanq medalions and gold, or even all together, like seninel helm = vanq helm + 100 vanq medalions + 200 gold
or whatever other way you can think, other than these impossible (for me) dungeons

No, this gear set can only be obtained if you finish the dungeon, it will never be available outside this dungeon.

Also, you will still be able to get this set without any issues, you just need to first finish the Redeye set from Gunbad. After that you will be able to access the City Dungeons with Sentinel set there.

OP idea is not great indeed but...

Why are you making Redeye mandatory in "new" dungeons?

Adding wards to Redeye, making you take less damage and inflict more in "new" dungeons thus making your runs easier is a great idea, much like WAR. It would be a way of giving players that have full Redeye an edge and make it feel like they didn't waste their time in Gunbad whilst still allowing non-full Redeye people to run "new" dungeons. So, if people choose to run "new" dungeons without Redeye, taking full damage and inflicting less in their runs, let it be, makes it tougher for them whilst maintaining dungeons open for the entire server.

I don't understand why Redeye needs to be a requirement. The amount of players that run dungeons is already incredibly small, barring the way for those that don't have the set just makes the situation even worse than it already is.

The dungeon content needs to be accessibe to a wider audience or it will end just like CH22 quests, aka content that most of the playerbase has never even thought of doing.

Players should be able to run without having Redeye. If a group can complete the dungeons without wards, why shouldn't they be able to?

Because this was designed as content with set progress. All you need to do is to run the Gunbad dungeon wings 3 times each, each taking 1.5h or less. Compare it to the number of hours it take to get SC weapon or even Ruin set and you got quite reasonable time requirement.

And if you don't want those sets, fine, there are more to come which will be bared behind acquisition of previous ones. But I'd really advice people to run stuff when it's still fresh .

on live conq/sent was enough for all pve content.

No. PVE content is separated from RVR.

Well.... ok, also as i remember - on live servers was enough to unlock conq/sent piece to get ward, wearing it is not required.

But in RoR you have to wear PVE gear to make wards work?

Anyway is there way to see if you have any wards atm? like .wards ?

You need to equip a full set to get a ToK unlock then you can wear what you want.

So everything is in ToK.
