Picked up this quest in I.C. the other day, then there were a few server reboots. I guess the NPC questgivers disappeared during those reboots. I was busy CTD at Morr's Repose over and over, and abandoned all hope as I entered there, of getting back in game that day. Hopped on this morning with the GF and we wanted to finish that quest. Pretty stoked about RoR being 3 years old, plus quests that take you places not often seen even if RvE is something one likes (for the love of Chaos, PLEASE bring The Winds Of Chaos back for players to enjoy and send those being punished for bans or whatever to their opposing faction's Throne Room to be brutalized publically by their enemy's leader!) is something I always get excited about; no idea why, just do.
We finished the quest, taking a bunch of SS after completing the final stage on top of the enormous statue just outside of Ebonwald, killed the bats and birds over and over, laughed out loud at the "Highway to the Bone Zone" floaters, pulled griffons through the magical barrier behind that, all that explorin' with pictures as proof stuff some of us do now and then, and at that point I realized I hadn't checked on the status of the quest; whether it was currently live, or not. Now I'm checkin'.
