have you ever played other MMO's ?

based on what other archtypes you've played we can tell what roles your comfortable with and make suggestions based on that

RoR is pvp oriented game, so best advice would be to not rush lvls and get to end game asap, but learn basic through normal pvp progresion. As a healer I recomend easy to grasp from low lvls runepriest, if u are good with english and want something chellenging take Archmage and toggle experimental mode with typing .ab ex in chat.
There is a nice guide for experimental healing AM:

Also I highly recomend UI pack of addons most essensial for healer:

AM thanks to archetype and ex mode got a bit support feeling class so maybe will suits u.
Queue scenarios from rank 1, join fights in RvR zone by joining WB with group window key and speaking /1 and later /t2, /t3 and /t4
And have fun.

What kinda classes/specs do you like/play in WoW? I can help find an equivalent here in RoR.

If you want to play proper dps, either try Destro Marauder or on Order side White Lion.
With healer choice, Shaman and Archmage are current top choices.
If you however decide to roll a tank, pick Chosen or Knight, they are pretty good in every way.

Well first of all Order is always the superior side to be on. Kotbs and AMs are in good places. If i wanted to DPS, which is not my flavor, I would go with a Shadow Warrior just because I have secretly always wanted to be Legolas.

Order is a good side to be on; great people but we don't have the sharpest tools in the shed when it comes to pugs.

As for DPS, there is all sorts of ways you can play. What kind of play style do you have? Are you backline, Mid or front?

Healers are similar. It all comes down to playstyle.
