Renown gain... formulas?
Does anyone have a definitive explanation on how renown rewards are calculated from kills? I kill a RR50 person solo with AAO and receive 400ish RP, then I kill a RR38 with zero AAO and received 1800 RP. Is it divided evenly within groups? Only the those with the killing blow? HOw much do I have to contribute to a kill to receive any renown? Do they have to hit me back for more?

As far as I know there is a seperate pool for healing and one for damage. Then it is decided bwtween your group and you get a percentage based on damage done and killing blow.

there are some formula from t2 times aza said it in another post, you gain less renown in solo but more when there more ppl in fights due to the split that is necessary.

RvR is getting a rework atm, any info on the current renown gain in RvR would be outdated soon™.

As i see it low pop or not things are not good in sc.
For me some solutions would be.
- 5000 rr points if you afk. and i am not talking standing in a spot jumping. Even that is afk in sc. count afk with no dps or no healing lets say.
30 min on the moon if you quit a sc.
meaning you got in there fight you like it or not.
sepperate t4 sc to 40lvls and below 40 (31 to 39).
defferent sc for non groupped people with groupped people unless the waiting time is more than 3 or 5 min for sc pop.
fix rr given by sc to healers. Why should a dps get more rr when to get dps and kills/DBs he has a healer behind him?
Well i guess those are just not easy so just my imagination.

Friendly reminder that a healer can't kill anyone without a DPS, so your argument is completely invalid.
Friendly reminder that as long as people can crash out of SCs and this cannot be differentiated from Alt+F4, punishing players for quitting SCs is laughable.
Friendly reminder that creating an AFK timer which can catch everything without false positives is impossible.

when t4 population will be a lot it it would be nice indeed have a split of queue based on renown, when we had it in t2(or was it t3) sc were way more balanced, to to higher levels knowledge of how play or due having the same itiems level.

I hope the devs don't reveal all the inner workings of RoR. Too many people try to game the system as it is now.

Panishing players that quit scenarios but stay in the game is not really laughable on my point. But yes if someone gets an Alt+f4 to kill the client and reconnect from the same ip? At least this will bother him to restart the router if his ip is not static from the provider. But yes the way it is right now with dc's all the time its not possible. Ofc. I won't argue with this at all we are on the same page. still it is weird to see always the same people doing the same thing. They see premades? they just skip. Maybe not fixable but its there.
Creating an afk timer might be impossible as you mention hard as i see it. Especially when people can have a way to never get afk. But still people get in sc do nothing and get renown. Still with 0 dps or 0 healing they should get nada.
Well i guess those are just not easy so just my imagination.
And what about the friendly reminder? It could get unfriendly? If so you want me to stop writing my ideas even if they are ideas from an idiot? Just so i know how things flow.

you dont need to dc, you done that prevent in live sc debuff for 15 min ti get apply, here you just have to log of, but seems ppl do this a lot less than live.
