Although I think the ability is really strong, I would not like to see it changed.

Because in wbs sh can do the exactly same thing as slayers with SL just better.
Their dmg is also nice.

So that leaves us with grp vs grp.

It's really easier switch sides (like Greenfire) and imagine that you are extremely skilled and this is not class makes win for you, but youself.
They will start using his brains only after Destro population will be lowered to minimal and there wouldn't be someone to fight in lakes (over WC sieges, like in T1) and never popping Scenarios.
But nevermind - devs implemented duels. In this way there will be clan wars soon - who will remeber about Destro here? :D

How? First off they have to spec into lolmeleeherder tree and then requires them to go into the front lines for that 30 ft effective range, which is the last place herder want to be, espically in city seige/wb v wb battles

We are talking about tesqs imagined wb vs wb. Shoot thru ya will deal the dmg. Sh has guard and is not less squishy than enraged slayer. WP doesnt remove ailment so order is stuck with cd increase. SM could help though.
As if anyone would play sm :P it has no crit, no id, no sl and no pounce oh wait :D :D

there is a squig herder frontal aoe build which also include as you said CD increase and it's not cleansebale by wp but.

-Is not undefitable as slayer rampage so slayer apply it better
-even if he have guard squig dont stack parry which change a lot under focus and if you wanna cc something.
-squig can be kite to death , due not have a snare immunity as slayer, the speed proc is 30% so a normal 40% snare will cover for it. (unless the tactic stack with run away buff which atm i dont remember).
-a frontal aoe squid does not the damages of slayer and does not hit the same number of ppl (3 vs 9 )
-if both sides have CD increased, slayer do still more damage due meccanic + ID than any squigs,
-you need multiple squigs herder to keep it 100% of the time update, which make your aoe lower in comparsion to multiple slayers.
-melee do more prayer procs than any squig would be able to do.
-run wp only is not reccomanded as set up even if they are so good with that crit chance kobs boost you to make you proc absorb tactics and huge heals. You should at least have 1 am for pot and some rune priests for marks.
