No i don't "have" to be, I just am. A **** that is.

Feel free to take your own advice, and not come into a thread simply to post about that which you don't like or agree with. Or you can be just as rude and hypocritical as me.

For the record, inspite of my typing style, my points still stand. And I never said I didn't like him. Did you read what I actually wrote, or did you take the "tone" of a typed statement and input your own thoughts? The only thing I said was "irrelevant" was his saying "I don't appreciate that". Which it is.

AM vs Shamy

AM: +DOT, +AP, +CC, +CritsDebuff, +Morale, +3rdTree, +HD, +SpiritDMG
-Looks n Lore, -KiteSurvive, -BurstDMG, -KiteHeal

Shamy: +Looks n Lore, +ToughDebuff, +BurstDMG, +KiteHeal, +MoralPump, +KiteSurvive,
-DOT, -AP, -CC, -Moral, -3rdTree, -EleDMG

IMO AM is slightly better but Shamy is more awesome :)

@freedomfighter08

You have to be more specific with your question. It don't break down that easy.

from the perspective of classes I play

SM vs BO
* SM has better sustained damage via multiple dots that deal same damage regardless of opponent due to relatively low spirit resistances/being able to debuff resistances 2x.
* BO has much better burst potential against squishies/when assisting a Marauder. I have got 1.7k+ crits on tanks/WPs after marauder has fully debuffed them and with a good amount of WS
* Both have good group utility and equal survivability. I would say, however, that the BOs easy M4 gain and better morale drain give it a slight edge in RvR
* SM has very good synergy with WL by being able to pounce with it with its M2.

both are very balanced mirrors imo

Magus vs Engineer
* Magus has better consistent burst potential due to being able to get 3/4 abilities to hit in the same timestamp. Also Indigo Fire > whatever the Engi equivalent is
* Engineer has better killpower every minute or so, i.e. it can kill anything if assisting a class with armor debuff, due to M2
* Both have good solo potential
* Engineer has better CC/utility, can be more of a nuisance to enemy healers and seems to have better tanky potential vs melee classes (I've seen a few engineers who - even with several DPS on them - can last a while)
* Magus has better PBAOE

A theory I've been thinking on which isn't fully fleshed out is how the game was broken down.

There is mechanic mirror's
There is class Archtype
There is Role

People usually focus on the mechanic mirror's but neglect the others.

Example:
The blackguard shares the mechanic mirror with the Ironbreaker.
The blackguard's archtype is the magic defense tank with the swordmaster.
The blackguard's Role is the assault/deep strike tank same as the knight's.
