Tier 4 SC's - Let's just give up?

Played live, loved it. I know RoR can't really be compared to it, but the things I am going to touch on aren't on gameplay mechanics or order vs. destro supposed bias or class strengths. I'm more concerned with the attitude I'm seeing in T4. T1 was lots of fun, if a bit zergy. Tier 2-3 was a grind, with the light at the end of the tunnel being Tier 4. Finally after getting to 31, I can join the 40 Scenarios!

And... I haven't been this disappointed in a long time. I'm playing destro, and every single SC I have joined has consisted of 1 of 2 situations: We do well, or very well, and things go normal. This accounts for maybe 25% of my scenarios at best. The other 75% consists of us (destro) losing the first battle, and afk'ing in or around spawn until the sc ends, with excuses like "don't want to feed" or "what can we do".

Melee that won't engage. DPS Healers that won't pick up healing if there is a major lack of it. People sitting on mounts at the back of battle seemingly afk. Entire groups of people fleeing when even 2 order rush them. And the vastly popular "I'm in battle but there are only 3 of us here in a full 15-person sc, because everyone else is sitting in spawn".

I get it. Losing sucks. Dying sucks. But if you only fight when the things are easy, you are a problem. You are dead weight. And not even in the realm of wanting to win, how about just wanting to play? Do people actually log onto a pvp-only game to... afk? Don't you want to fight? Who cares if it's not easy, or if the battle isn't going your way. Destro is about fighting, killing, conquering! Not about sulking in a corner when things get tough.

I must say that I expected far more from Tier 4 destro. There are more balls in one T1 SC then I've seen in a day's worth of SC's in Tier 4.

To be honest its always like this after new stuff is released after order [layers get geared or bored they come back to destro or play something else. Thats when destro has its so called dominance until next release. I have been playing this server for years and its always the same story just give it a few months then it will level out when order premades get geared and look to RVR.

Time zones bruh. And people won't give up their rewards to xrealm and even it out, so...

Just keep pushing, hopefully you'll be the morale boost that Destro needs. What we really need is a player drive to get more people playing and leveling up characters.

Aaaaaaand rewrite your initial post but substitute destro for order and you've got the other 50ish % of the population's experience. Except as you're moaning about lack of des in melee I guess you've been playing for 2 mins.. Seriously just play the game, enjoy it, you win some you lose some. I expect you to make a post next time you win a disproportionate number of pug scens in a day or so, but you won't. Enjoy the game anyway.

If you actually read the post you might not sound as dumb.

I literally said losing doesn't bother me, my problem is when people just refuse to play because they lose, or feel like they will. AFKing through a SC you aren't winning isn't a solution.

I really would read posts before you reply with self-righteous ignorance.

I recommend that you find others to group with regularly if such incidents are getting you down, for (unfortunately) they can be the norm in pug environments.
