[Poll] [Destro] Best PvE Farming Class

Many of us have been there before, wanting to farm some gold or mats. We kill one mob at a time, while we look jealously over at someone else solo pulling 10.


Which class do you think is the best for PvE farming?



(For the sake of space I was forced to leave off Shaman, Sorcerer and Zealot. They fall under the category of other.)

I think the Magus is the best destro farming class, with Mara coming in as a strong second.

Magus is able to handle very large packs of mobs it's level.

A poll like this is intended to help a new player who doesn't know much about the game that is looking for a class to help them grind money/mats in PvE.

mara, has been since t2

self heal so no need for healers or guard, can do multiple mobs at a time, and constant sustain with m2

Mara, since you can consistently continue pulling groups while your self-heals outweigh the next burst of damage you'll be taking. Maintaining your buffs and the self-heal is crucial to effective farming on a Marauder. Also, use your disarm, 100% parry M1, and AoE knockdown wisely to tank even more damage.

I can see it if you run your Mara as a 100% AoE mob grinder to support your main.

It's such a waste of a good class tho <3 wounds/armor debuffs.

My sugestion is: lvl a destro and order toon, do rvr in the winner faction and when you need money/mats or other thing use trade forum to x-realm your gold or wat you need ;p

ps: any toon is good in each faction, the most important thing is to play in the correct fact at the correct moment

I would go with Mara or DoK, both can do decent damage and self-heal in PvE safely. If you get a friend to heal, then Choppa is probably a better bet. Sham and Zealot aren't bad either, but the damage output is lower combined with cloth armor, so you can't pull groups very well. Magus is better than Sorc. Tanks suffer from low DPS and lack of AoE, although able to pull more at once. SH and WE are more single target focused with low armor, not the best at farming.
