City schedules need more variety

Cities happen every 2–3 days, but keeping them at 21:00 Altdorf time means that part of the server population can realistically play them only on Sundays.

Today, Order had a full, organised 24-man warband ready at 21:00, yet not a single instance opened. This has now happened twice within a very short period of time.

We are not asking for more Cities. We are asking for different time slots so that more players have a real opportunity to participate. Adding a 23:00 Altdorf time (or even random timers) slot on certain days would already make a huge difference.

We know the campaign system will change soon, but this is a small and easy adjustment that could immediately bring some life back to Cities until the new campaign is implemented.

Rotate the schedule. Give more players a chance to play.

Today, Ginger and I planned our entire day around being available at 21:00 for the City Siege. We even left work an hour early so that we could play it.

At 20:30, we started forming a 12-man group with other members of Los Autónomos and the alliance.

We managed to fill the entire 12-man group, and at 21:00 we queued for the siege.

Once again, not a single instance opened at 21:00, despite Altdorf being at five stars.

Please introduce more varied or random City Siege times. The players who can easily participate during EU prime time do not seem interested in playing them. Give those of us who actually want to play outside that time slot an opportunity to do so, without having to rearrange our real lives only for no instances to open at all.

This would be a simple change that would significantly improve the quality of life for the rest of the player base.

Will bring this up with the RvR team as they get closer to launching the campaign updates down the road.

If there are specific times players feel would be stronger for people to participate, please do list them out so we can share those recommendations too.

There is a bug that show there is no instaces but there is 1 or 2
Today we had only 1 and not full that started 5 mins after message that city repel invaders. So it is confusing and missleading but there are some instances

Yes, I've noticed this too. Often it will show no open instances, but multiple matches may be ongoing. You'll still see the results of these cities later as they finish.

That bug is really disheartening.

The interface clearly showed that Order had won by a draw, 0–0. The city dropped from five stars to three, so we assumed that the siege had closed. Although we remained in the queue, after three or four minutes some players left, our group lost its queue position, and we were unable to queue again. :(

Rubius, thank you for listening to me and taking the time to respond to this message.

Personally, I do not like scheduled City Sieges, and I hope that, with the new campaign, the scheduling system will disappear and we will return to a purely campaign-driven system.

However, if that is not going to happen, it would be great if City Sieges could occasionally take place at around 23:00 Altdorf time, giving late-EU players a proper opportunity to participate.

Yes the bug is giving missleading info and many ppl leave queu after the massage that say the siege is over , but if you stay at the queu you got pop within 5ish mins or so.
So since this is bugged city sieges info is quite rigged and cant be taken seriously cos the system misslead ppl so less instances pop which doesnt represent real interest (not that it is so huge but the numbers are additionally lowered cos of the bug)

So imo that bug should be kinda priority to be fixed so devs see more real info from city sieges data
