2h choppa, viable or not?

Now I'm pretty new to choppa, rolling the class in RoR for a change of pace

Every video I have ever seen of the class has them dwing and using a spec like this:

Today I met a player called grokmog who claimed to have been a famous choppa on live and they were giving me some advice on the class but before we could finish our conversation I had to log.

Now he told me that choppa is a glass cannon, a melee assassin as he put it and that death is to be expected. So to that extent he stated that it's better to go 2h to kill your target first before they can kill you.

Now we didn't get to talk about spec but I'm going to assume it's like this for 2h

The problem with this is that first and formost the lack of the self heal meaning if you have no healer your really boned secondly doesn't dwing synergize better with get stuck in to make you off hand hit more?

I've heard that 2h choppas can crit for 3k but I'd like to know if it is viable to go 2h or if it's better to dw

If he going that build he lacks the healing from Furious Choppin but he would be able to quickly drop targets unless he's focused, then he would drop fast.
The build seems to revolve around go in crit like a monster and get out.

Defenitely YES. It has been loong time since I have played choppa on live(first or 2nd year in WAR), but as far as I can remember 2H choppa hits really like a truck especialy T1-T3. When I entered T3 with my choppa, with bolster wasnt problem to crit light armors for 2K with weaklin killa and dot of bleed em out over 700 per tick! Never achieved that dmg outpoot with any of my melee dpsers in T3(except WH´s ending tick of BAL). In T4 I was playing build like this: http://waronlinebuilder.org/#career=chp ... 1:;0:0:0:0:

Out of curiosity why did you take strong finish over wot rules?

Depends on party setup and play style

If You have good party with pocket guard and healer, You can use Wot Rules, but I found using 15% crit chance tactic insted to fit better to my play style

Styl theory because we have T2 and T4 is few Years away .-)
