Based on my experience and after mutiple tests, it seems Steelseries headphone drivers. Had to restart the game 4-5 times before being to play. Never had a single crash since i replaced it with a low cost heaphone...
My son experienced same issue recently on League of Legend (disconnected every 3 mins).
Haven't found any clean solution looking on the internet.
This to say, that sometime, cause of crash is not necessarily due to client.
