Curse filter

Since neither GMs I have messaged has messaged me back, where else but to ask but the General Discussion forum?

The game has a built in curse filter; click a box in the settings menu and viola- just like in the forums, most english curse words are immediately filtered, for example: ****, ******, **** and ******.

If there exists within the client a way to filter these words if you do not like reading them, why is it that players are receiving punishments for using these words?

Because it's against the rules to use vulgar language on the server. Why this hasn't sunk into your head yet is truly amazing.

Bring it up again and we're going to take another look at that ban of yours.
