I see both sides on this...

It's tedious having to craft talis, gather reagents, etc etc..

Majority of people will always choose the easy way out, just because it's EASY and it's human nature.

At the same time... it does ruin the economy when only a select few took advantage of this.


Time sinks = people attempt to find an easy way out.

I'm guilty of this too, but I couldn't even bring myself to craft lol. Instead I go back and forth with twinky t1 toons :>

how do you think those +20 talis were made?

Where do you think those frags came from?

I'm telling you - in over 3 days farming...+22 champs... I've seen two purple frags (both willpower).. both lvl 100. Best case is +19 on that.

Is is impossible to farm for +20 - no. Is it almost so? yes.

Point - those +20's likely came from exploited devastator gear salvaged into easy purples.

I dont know. I bought them a month or so ago when craft of those 20 purples was available. The prices were much lower than now and bought them one by one during a week.

Anyway if there will be another item wipe, I will consider start crafting for my self(I dont like craft in general and rather spent my gold from PVP quests for those talis, pots, than spent hours to craft them )

I wouldn't worry about this too much. Eventually once t3 is released, you will be able to convert your medallions to recruit medallions and salvage purple fragments again.

A simple gold wipe wont be enough .. They need to wipe all gold and all items . give everyone 10gp and lock gold so you cant go over 25 ish..

People suffer more for having exploiters with superior gear and purchasing power, as well as a broken economy. We've had these discussions before.
