Thanks everyone who took the effort to, despite the server having a really hard time, spend two hours trying to get ingame to participate! Makes me a proud dawi!

The Beginning was rough and time taking. I think the Server died three or four times.
We were much more Dwarfs at the first tries, and I'm sorry for all who attended and then the Server crashs destroyed their fun and motivation. I hope to see you next wednesday.

BUT:

Once we were on there was a hard core of 7 dwarf Players, five of them in the Blue of Bitterstone.
We made some good attacks and the command of fresh promoted Drengk worked quite good.
The formation was squashed two times by actually good thinking destros. Using Flanking attack or an Ambush at the Crypt we were total party Kill two times.
But I didn't felt angry or sad about that. They didn't broke us with force but with brains. And against that we can work.
We are evolving and learn to handle these situations.

SO:
The End had some good quick fights, some BO gathering, stunned elfes. We even had to make answer one time a new question simultaneously to prove that we aren't multiboxing Dwarfs.

And now onto the fifth Event.
The next Event will be on Wednesday the 29.07.

This one will be a two part Event.
First part - Roleplay:
At 8pm (gmt+1) any one who is interested in marching and Roleplay meet at the warcamp. We will march, make some roleplay, maybe shoot a PQ to bits if it works. I will not talk Combat Advance or RvR Tactics at this point.
So attend to this event if you like to take part in dwarven roleplay. Marching, singing.


Second Part - RvR
At 9pm (gmt+1). If you are more into the RvR part of Warhammer any dwarf can then join the Formation and I will give a quick introduction of Combat Advance and Regroup works. So you don't have to be there for the roleplay part to participate in this.

And from now on, on every Wednesday the 3rd Bitterstone Thunderers will be in the oRvR Action from 9pm.

Update on yesterday.

Thunderer Bartrima scouted before the Event a mob of 20 Goblins before Mandreds Keep.
As I have been told today the Mob was actually waiting to attack us once we entered the rvr at 9 pm.
But the several crashes shattered the moral of the greenskins.
Green little frakkers.

The Goblin Mob is organized by Gobmarley (ingame Grotsaidstop) and I'm in contact with him.
He is leading a mostly french Greenskin guild with around 40 Goblins and 20 Orcs.
Highly motivated he told me, that means for goblins that they would do things with your dead dwarven skull that a longbeard would make to look disgusted.
As there is holiday season up we might not get an Event ready before September.
First plan is that we don't make an extra Event, but we will meet in oRvR at one of the wednesday 9pm. events which the 3rd Bitterstone will hold regularly.

We will then decide if we stay in the complete fight with all other players around us, or if we make a private battle near Kinschels or Ruins.

So the 3rd Bitterstone Thunderers have finally met their nemesis.
Let the smack talk against that goblins begin. But take it roleplay like and light hearted. No real swearing or offences.

A little After Action Report of the 4th Event.

After four or five disconects and one and a half hour the air was already out of the vent. Most people have found something else todo and I was alos quite a step before calling it a day and wait for next Wednesday. But finaly the server went up and stayed up. So the hardcore dwarfs of the 3rd Bitterstone gathered for some action.
Up to Stonetroll Keep!



Under the command of the later promoted Corporal Drengk Burloksson we stormed the Keep and smoked the orcs out who thought to stand against us.


After taking care of the chaos umgi Keep Lord we setup a defense position on the stairs.

The Other Order Troops were happy to see us. Well at least it was me that this comment meant that.


We took the Crypt and the dwarfs were getting already in the singing mood.


But alas, after leaving the Crypt we ran into a deadly Destro Ambush. We got two of the Bi*** Elfes in front of us, but the foe behind us was our end.


So final words:
The formation is not unbeatable but our undoing was the new tactics of the destros, not their numbers.
So we have to adept. Till this Wednesday!
