Hey, that was my mob. Isn't that one of MMO's most legendary and fondest past time experiences? Will you really penalize a players account for fulfilling one of the most obvious and tempting engagements in an MMO?

I'm just an old schooler that cherishes the love and hate that goes along with these games because positive OR NEGATIVE are the experience. I mean, verbal harassment I get, but like,..

I, on the other hand, know it isn't so funny when someone of your own faction decides that they're going to piss someone off today, and you're going to be it. I'm aware that MMO culture in general supports being an arse to anyone and everyone in a way that doesn't exist in any other gaming community I've ever been a part of, but I don't really see why you should be allowed to deliberately harass people of your own faction outside of the bounds of acceptable competition. That should be reserved for the enemy, assuming that realm pride/association is even going to matter anymore.

That said, something like this can and should be solved in code, which has always been my preferred approach to dealing with problems of this kind.

I hear you but nobody owns a mob. The fact someone thinks they can't be pushed out of a grinding spot because they were there first is wrong. If reported, you don't know the whole story. Maybe It's a carry over from an argument the day before. Maybe a player didn't heal another player in a scenario and dislikes that person.

Can I FRAPS a tank not giving me guard, because I consider that being a **** as well. Or the guy who buys all the consumables on auction house then resells them at 3x the price. That is pretty harrassing to the community.

Verbal harrassment is a line that once crossed, you know Mom and Dad are gonna punish you no matter who started it. That sits well in a game like this. But you are saying to Little Sally if she can get Billy on FRAPS tossing one pea in her direction Billy is grounded. Forever. What if Sally was being the real bitch of a sister and we didn't see the whole story?

Not sure I'd have put it in Game Support ( ) but why all the indirect 'condoning' of kill-stealing? Ya can be pretty sure the ppl loling at the OP wouldn't be saying the same if they weren't twinked out and needed to actually farm for gear/money/exp...

Because it's very hard for us to actually do anything about it.
