Why are watrior priests amazing healers?

The thing about wp and dok for that matter is they are suppose to be front line healers which similar to how engi/magus are suppose to be stationary rdps it doesnt work to well. They both have the best defense, resource management and heal output, that aint right in my eyes. I would be more inclined to look at there resource management then anything else if changes were to be made.

I agree. WP/DoK are fine they are just very gear dependant to pull amazing heals. They gheals are usually very low but spammable. It cannot be sustained for very long unless you have great gear to counteract it.

I would advice switching martys blessing for divine protection, given how fast you can spam the gheals and not having a cooldown like emperors ward and some other tactics it will make you very tanky.

Like I said, if you have a runepriest in SC flashing people and keeping grungi up, WP gheals can carry the team. Your job as a runie is to make the WP look like an all-star, and to keep your dual CC combo packages on cooldown. There's nothing to hate about WP.

And you mentioned 'melee healing?' that is not going to fly in US times. There's nearly no active dedicated premades. Sweet is a good melee WP, a rare breed who actually plays the class as intended , and ask him how much fun he is having.

yeah, im in Florida US and the servers are dead when US get on. It sucks for leveling and trying to get RR. its a tough life tbh

All healers are good, you just need to know the mechanic of the class with you are playing. I love Warrior Priest, my main character is a WP, but I have too much fun playing as AM or RP. Principally RP because I never played with this class on live game.

Not just US time zones but all . Yea sweet is cool(especially wielding that sexy 2h). I think the times i remember when herby(i know some ppl will remember him) would walk into a wb and survive are long gone.

Very doable on AM, not so good on Sham, as Sham has more useful tactics to pick and always loses something.
With the current levelcap I would prefer heal spec.

there is the issue with guard. At one balance group you got 2 dps and 2 guard bots. So the damage spread around 4 ppl \2\ which is easier to keep up with strong gheal.
And guess what? wp/dok gheal > backline healers gheal.

If guard got some change so gheal become less powerfull instrument then ST healers could shine abit more.
Personally i like a change for gheal for backline healers, to altered it cos this mindless spamfest that trigger all procs is quite boring.
