Order DPS: WH vs WL vs Slayer

The pet AI isn't that bad, the only thing I notice is sometimes in certain SC's like GoE my lion will get trapped in the 5th dimension for a time.

What I don't like is the pet itself isn't that strong, but has tons of conditionals/passives tied to it that are central to the WL's ability to deal damage and require the pet to be there with you. The pet stances are a joke because one has 50% AA haste and the others don't... so they never see any use and might as well not exist. The pet is too easy to kill for what damage it does, and what you lose for it dying as well.

Wish the lion acted more like syllabear from dota :^)

I'd honestly just prefer that White Lion Front loaded burst cops a buff, but give pounce a CD.

The witch hunter is maybe one of the funniest careers to play. Insane damage, stealth, healer hunter, ridiculous amount of charisma. This said, WH is one of the most complex to play, and if you don't know what you are doing, the only thing you will see is the respawn timer.
Really dependent on equip, potions and talismans.

Still, the only class in Order I can play without feeling a worthless traitor of Tzeentch.

thats really an ordinary pvp video, i suppose he just took the scenes where he got bad enemies (or with huge lag, c'mon, the SW just tried to ran away...)

It's been said earlier but if you're a team player, you should roll a slayer. I played on e till rr7x with a fixed 6man and it was effective but rather boring at some point. I never thought that playing in a premade is fun and I don't get it why people are so eager to get one.

Not long before the servers were shut down I rolled a WH and at first I thought that all my prior efforts were a waste (I had about 5 rr7x chars) - it was like a revelation. WH was pretty much what I wanted - I'm a solo guy who likes 1v1 and I find premades boring.

I got up to rank 37 or something and rr5x simply by roaming in rvr lakes and occasionally leeching rvr ticks. I barely did any scenarios. It was the experience I wanted - you're doing good on your own and you should stick to that cause you don't feel welcome in groups.

I got a r30 WL on RoR but I can't say that he's impressive so far. He's mobile and has a lot of burst damage but that's it. I played a WL mirror (sorta) - a marauder - up to rr7x and it was awesome all the way. Even back in the days when they were rather weak. With all these debuffs you feel like a swiss knife usable in any situation.

RoR is a whole different story compared to the original servers because back there you could occasionally perform well as a choppa/slayer on your own thanks to casual players. RoR as any other private server of an abandoned game is mostly populated by veterans who tend to focus targets effectively.

No class is useless per se...some are just less "optimal". WH has one of the sexiest looking armors in the game :> that alone merits running them heheheh

On live when I was on non prime time rr100 I would spec solo slayer build and tear up mara's and DPS dok's. Squid herders would be a pain but if u popped ur no snare and charge and snare them dot them up and knock down they are done. It's how u spec and use the right tactics and knowing ur class to the fullest.
