Re: A stopgap to handle the item loss issue.
both solutions sound good, but especially pushing the level cap would be fun. Hopefully no one is too frustrated: in T1, good performance IMO is 80% how you play, 20% whether you have the best gear or just standard vendor gear. I think it's more psychological when you lose something that you farmed hard for, so let's keep our eyes on the big picture here (supporting WAR alpha, having fun killing Order, etc).

What are u rambling on about ? try reading my previous posts in this thread about balance and comments directed at you before you say things that have no point and you come to some silly conclusions...You are clueless and i really hope for the benefit of ROR that anything you say is ignored by the devs. ByeSulorie wrote: You say you lost against them? You say you had no chance together with r40 subrr70 chars in sc?
If you think there was an imbalance in lower tiers, then I tell you, that it was just you, who was lacking.
You had a bolster, something you don't have in T4.

This is certainly going to end up awkward, isn't it?

Most likely, ah well..if ppl disagree with what i saw then feel free to call me a fool and i will hold my hands up, after all the pop drop after tier level changes and rr100 was clear to see.Azarael wrote:This is certainly going to end up awkward, isn't it?
Edit- as it does no favors to keep bumping this thread...let me apologize for all the off topic back and forth bickering, it doesnt help and ppl will have there own opinions.

What about non buyable items? I got a very nice blue greatsword through the AH some time ago and I kept it on me at all times till level 18 was unlocked. Now I've lost it with no real chances of having it pop from the AH, and it sure as hell not going to be on a merchant.
As for the rest of the equipement losses, it blows, but its manageable, would be better off if gold wasn't gone, as well.
