Is that what the event in Ekrund is, a way to convert leveling players into content for bored uppers?

I mean... mission accomplished. Working as intended. Buy yeesh, less fun than intended.

You should know that there's a major Live Event called "A Stronghold Saga" and it is split into 3 parts. Most of the community is at Part 2 now but we've decided to keep all parts ongoing till Halloween, just in case someone wants to finish them on their alts or - most importantly - be able to catch up in case they were on a break.

Now the obvious downside that we've already anticipated is the lack of activity in the older Parts. As others have mentioned, WE/WH could see this lower activity as a boost for their class so they'll enjoy roaming around and hunt lower levels/lower geared players. The sole solution that aligns with our resources and time would be completely shutting down older parts, which means that you will never have a chance to catch up or to push more rewards on your alts.

So it may be an alpha problem but it is not solely a Witch Elf problem.

Ugh witch elves again.

I would like an arrow that is guaranteed 1 kill please.

Because that’s what WEs get. 1 guaranteed kill. Undetectable, unstoppable, unavoidable. Everything after that is just a bonus. Sure the rest of the WB will probably get her but so what? She’s got that kill and the rr and there was never a question that she would.

She’s not playing a game she’s just cranking a machine that makes RR for her.

Meanwhile I am dodging and scraping, being told that I’m not the right level to get kills or rewards. Getting crapped on by slightly inconvenienced level 40’s at level 15, getting melee snared from 25 feet, watching my pins do nothing at all and doing no damage at all from my “dps” class. All the while trying to figure out some way to get enough levels and stuff to make someone ELSE’s leveling journey miserable.

Ekrund is a bad time in a can.

And the other option is to sneak into a legit level 40 WB where I am too low to get anything but dead and harass the poor healers with my corpse. Ironically, I can stay alive much longer in a lvl 40 WB than I can in Ekrund.

Of course all next scenario WBs are all 24/24… Oohh theres a one with 23/24 YAYY… kicked for too many dps. At least they think I am dps.

Witch elves can insta-kill me with super-weapons while I am standing beside a guard and I can’t even use BHA.

Let me tell you, it is hella hard to level from the dirt.

Well soon you are lvl 16 and you will have better stats in rvr than rr 80 players and you dont have to never go to ekrund again. Let me make your life a bit easier, when you ding 16 get full keeper from sacellum(dont remember order name for it) and never leave WC without armour and ballistic skill potion. Never leave wc without 2x heal potions and 2x ap potions. Use full ballistic skill or whatever u want talismans and never use any gear on any slots that is 3 lvl's or more under your own level and watch bolster working wonders. Besides if you are alert you will detaunt wtich elf instantly when she pops from stealth so all this is on you, man i would love to see you playing those mara's and see how it's like with your words " 25 feet snare " and actually fighting against sw's that know what they are doing.When you make mara or welf for that matter i can duel you with sw and lets see if you are complainin about sw's after that on forums.

Not to make you feel better, but in my experience WP is really really weak class in T1. However, in T4 you are one of the best, most unkillable character and the backbone of every order army or SC party. So just endure the temporal imbalances and suck it up.

Also, please keep in mind if WE's piss you off in T1, then god forbid you meet sorcs in T4... they will delete you faster than any WE ever

One more thing, the trick to fight WE is to run/kite until their parry buff is on... then they are not that strong to take down.

One more one more thing: you have detaunt. Your best survival skill. Use it the second you spot the WE. Good luck
