Newbie lookin for some feedbacks

Just recently heard about this game, Im a fan of pvp and i hear that this game is heavy on its PvP content?

Aside from low player based ( as of now seing only 400 players online )

How is the pvp?

What is this "rvr" ive been seeing

Are there any class close to rogue like to wow?

Also, What is the max lvl and how does one level if i just want to skip to endgame? ( thats were usually the real fun starts )

Does this game have any instanced pvp, bgs, 1n1s, etc

Thanks!

First and formost hello and welcome

yes my firend their are 2 classes completely focused on stealth ambushing lone players and healers and stuff

on the orderside that class is the witch hunter and on destro the class is the witch elf

pvp is a central focus of this game the player population fluctuates from time of day, ususally the population is 500-600 and on weekends its pretty close to the 750 lvl cap

how rvr is done is with scenarios which are instanced pvp and rvr lakes which are large zones i which you can roam solo, in a 6 man party of a 24 player wb and fight for control of objectives, or keeps

Welcome to RoR!
I would say the only problem with population (if you can call it like that) is that is growing to fast for the server to handle... so, you won't have low population problems, specially if you play in peak hours... you will usually find yourself in the middle of massive battles... (server population; 500-750 player on peak hours and 150-200 players on low hours, low hours only last 2 or 3 hours)

So far, the rank (level) cap is 26/40... dev's are working on increase level cap right now and we are excpecting a patch before christmas... and renown cap (pvp level) is 40/100

the best way to get rank cap is of course pvp during peak hours, Realm vs realm or battlegrounds, I would recommend bg's, also the PvP fun in this game starts from Rank 1 in my opinion... you can go battlegrounds or RvR from rank 1 (I would suggest you get at least a couple of ranks before)

Stealth classes are very fun to play but imo one of the hardest to master, anyway I have a witch elf and trust me, breaking the enemy formation killing their healers is so worth it, even if you die after that... I also recommend you to find a partner... 2 witch elves/witch hunters working together aiming the same mage/healer is a blast... so much fun!

WELCOME!!

First, this game is awesome. You will notice very soon, if not already, that animations, gameplay, etc., have a unique "flow" unlike other currently popular games. This potentially uncomfortable feeling will minimize after playing a few hours.

Second, most of the folks here are veterans from live, so you will here much talk about this or that that needs balanced or tweaked. Don't put too much thought into these posts.

Third, RoR is being maintained by a group of folks that do it for free, in their spare time, and with the tool kit to make necessary changes that were sometimes impossible during Live. Due to development not being influenced or driven by revenue, much greater care is given to correct balance and ultimately, the pulse of the game, which is the playerbase.

Finally, you will not find a playerbase and/or development team anywhere in the current global MMO world.

We as a group are indescribably thrilled to have our game back. Be unique with us and enjoy RoR!

rogue like? I'm guessing Witch Hunter/Witch Elf are the closest if you are looking for a melee class.

never played WoW though.
