specific roaming duo comp

Are there good roaming duo options (synergistic) that have the following:

1) dps caster + melee
2) the melee is either, cc centric, and/or is a hit and run play style?


reason:
Friend and I came from daoc and had ran minstrel sorc for a long time and we always look to play a similar comps in other mmos (i.e. feral + spriest / windwalker + mage... in wow)

Pure dps casters dont work without guard+heal in this game. You can try SM+AM, the pretty strong for duo smallscale. Only good option for duo caster is roam with heal like sork+zeal or bw+rp and still u will be pretty squishy. U can try BG+melle dps dok, dok give u feeling of that evil magics but hes melle not pure caster.

Chosen / DoK are particularly nasty as a melee combo, particularly with high-end gear. The chosen is one of the strongest solo classes in game as is.

You could try Chosen / Magus if you absolutely want to stick to melee/caster combo. But I haven't seen it done, so can't say for sure. Different games, different tools are required.

RP/Zealot + pick your dps are a good combo.

While they may not have the greatest supplemental DPS compared to DPS version of other heals, they have a 6 second 100 ft stun that can make it difficult for a target to get away. And they are tough and can insta-switch back to pure heals as needed with just tactic choices dictating total heal efficiency.

Am+sm. Am provides the caster part, while also heals and a pretty decent cc, while sm provides a very decent dmg, while also a nice cc, +tanky as a side bonus.

Destro side, I guess you can try something like sham + chosen. Or, sham + BO, though snb BO doesn't has the greatest dmg, while 2h BO is pretty squishy.

Basically its tank +heal. Pick your poison. Sm/chosen/BO can bring some potent dps, other tanks 2h build in very weird spot after rework of parry.

Depends how you look at it, even not considered Run Away having been nerfed long ago. Sham and sh will have to deal with wls, while whatever duo on order side won't.
