WH vs WE What Should I 'Main'?
I have a problem where I have trouble sticking to one thing/char and I want to now commit to a “main”. Since I can never make up my own mind, here is your chance to make it for me lol. I have a WH and WH both 40/45. I feel WH is overall more powerfull but the WE has more build diversity and has better matchups against order targets. People constantly say WE has better burst but I dont see it personally. Due to being forced into taking BF under most build conditions WE has at best a 15% damage boost over WH as they can slot MT/ToB in addition to flank. However i find BaL and EW along with IF and RB to be well worth the tradeoff. But kisses are better than bullets.

i have over 1000str without BF, so it's wrong statementAncientone1 wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 1:08 am Due to being forced into taking BF under most build conditions WE
bullet is granted, kisses - random and have icd. So with finishers like EW you could do really lot of damage and debuff 4 stats in one "melee" shot. But sadly(not for destro, heh) most WHs here is about RB+BAL.
Re: WH vs WE What Should I 'Main'?
The problem with WE is the nerfs that have here in RoR. ICD on kisses, nerf on wounds finishers, no faster daggers, only 1 proc on suj weapons and all the buffs the other side get... Not even a shaodow of the original WAR WE.
If u wanna go easy mode, go for WH, if u wanna test u skills, play WE

lets be honest here, new slice is looks much better for warband playing, but i didn't tested it yet.bctakhy wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 3:34 am The problem with WE is the nerfs that have here in RoR. also i really like this new invisibility+charge skill. Charge is what i really want to see on live.
and semi-nice try to make finisher in 3rd branch useful, but it's still meh even with haste proc and slowing. Outside solo pve it's looks useless.
Re: WH vs WE What Should I 'Main'?
I will describe my 2 cents about both classes, so sorry for longer post.
I mained WE on live and first years on RoR.
Main difference between WH and WE are WH is more survival toe to toe survivalist while WE is more straight forward damage dealer
WH pros:
Repel Blashemy - 100% parry for 5s with 30s CD.
Exit Wounds - 240str,ws,tough debuff for 10s with 10s CD. Hit hard and no positional requirements
Burn Away Lies - crazy strong dot with 10s CD. Only usable from behind.
Burn Heretic - dot finisher avalaible early on low levels
Seekers blade - if target ailing, 5% parry, dodge disrubt debuff(strong with Seekers Triumph tactic which lower CD to 5s and skill ignore 50% armor)
Morale 3 - +50% parry for group for 10s(great for 6 man, in warband you use 1200dmg m2 insted)
Righthouse steel tactic - core +10% parry tactic
Inquisitor´s Fury tactic- 50% AA haste for 10s whenever you crit
Vindication tactic- +35%dmg if disrubt for 10s(great if paired with high disrubt chance - invest in dodge disrubt renown passive)
WH cons:
no other option to bypass/ignore armor than spam torment from behind, bullet procs on finishers, using Seekers blade with seekers triumph and using Seal od destruction(50% armor ignore for 7s with 30s CD) which is exlusively in Inquisition tree that means standard Bal+RP has no acces to it.
Shroud of Magnus - 100% disrubt for 7s is exlusively in Confession tree which means Exit wounds+Pisto whip spec has no acces to it.
WE pros:
Pierce armor - 100% armor ignore damager with weapon skill self buff with 10s CD
Witchbrew - finisher which add corporal dmg to Your X attacks - cut thru medium/heavy armor target like thru butter(buffed ICD now)
Wracking pains - spirit dmg dot with 120 weapon skill+toughnes debuff component for its duration.
Sacrificial stab - was meh finisher, but now has also AA speed component which is great
Morale 3 - +50% crit chance for party for 10s
Swift pursuit tactic - +25% speed for Flee-footed for its duration(can be used defensively and offensively as mini charge)
Sacrifices rewarded tactic- 600 dmg absorb whenever get crit 3s CD
Taste of Blood tactic- 25% chance to incrase dmg deal by 15% when get hit.
Masterfull Treachery tactic- deal 15% dmg for 10s when hit by from stealth attacks
Frenzied Mayhem tactic - +3% crit chance for each bloodlust
WE cons:
No core 10% parry increase tactic - need spec for it
Considered worster fnisher than WH even Witchbrew is great. HRT wounds debuff could be higher.
Kisses - 25% chance to proc on hit. Not sure if this is con. With AA haste the chance to proc is higher
Both classes are perfectly viable especialy with buff to they AOE. If somebody ask me what class is better, I would say Witch elf. Maybe because of my nostalgia from live, maybe because I was not that bad with her like I am with WH
, maybe because of the sexy outfit. I think she has more armor ignoring tools which help her kill higher armored targets.
The question is what class you like more. I remember I havent played WH on live because his "hat" irritated me too much

Because you put renown points into str, no?bichka wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 2:14 ami have over 1000str without BF, so it's wrong statementAncientone1 wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 1:08 am Due to being forced into taking BF under most build conditions WE
Dying is no option.
Re: WH vs WE What Should I 'Main'?
Sure, but you want to get cap without risk, right? It's still your choice what to spec, some defensive rr skills or go full offensive.Sulorie wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 9:12 amBecause you put renown points into str, no?bichka wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 2:14 ami have over 1000str without BF, so it's wrong statementAncientone1 wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 1:08 am Due to being forced into taking BF under most build conditions WE
So you are not forced to use BF.

Re: WH vs WE What Should I 'Main'?
These two (non)mirrors are legit lightning in a bottle of balance if you ask me. By and large WHs enjoy playing WE and vice versa. Both have skills the other is envious of and yet both remain roughly on par. You should main which one you enjoy the most if maining is a thing you feel you must do.
On live after we had ensured chosen dps and by extension chosen were nerfed to oblivion, I played both. Preferred WH for reasons I still can't fully mansplain.
