[d3dx9_34 error]

Hey everyone,
I have been strugling for two days now with the d3dx9_34 error.

I followed the instructions once and I got the bug. Some people said to reinstall the game, which I did.
I dl it, put it in a new folder and then unpack the Launcher in it, same for the d3dx9 dll but even though, still the problem. I have been looking for anyone having this problem again and I didn't find it.
Can you tell me what I have to do to join you ?
If someone actually had this problem, I am already sorry to post this.

Thanks for reading me

Download this .dll and put it in your game folder: https://my.pcloud.com/publink/show?code ... hU9XHc0Id7

If you have a 64bit Windows 10 then make sure you copy paste the 32bit directx version as well. It solved these issues multiple times in the past (including on both of my computer and laptop).

6/11/2020 Solution
Ive recently experienced this old issue but the old solution of manually placing the d3dx9_34.dll file in the warhammer directory didnt work. I solved this by installing Microsoft's legacy runtime Directx for old games.

Link here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... aspx?id=35

Tested working on a freshly installed Windows 10 Pro system running DirectX12 (which apparently should have, but was not backwards compatible)

Details:
The Microsoft DirectX® End-User Runtime installs a number of runtime libraries from the legacy DirectX SDK for some games that use D3DX9, D3DX10, D3DX11, XAudio 2.7, XInput 1.3, XACT, and/or Managed DirectX 1.1. Note that this package does not modify the DirectX Runtime installed on your Windows OS in any way.

The installation folder has an installation exe for DX9 which fixes this.
