Game crash after selecting character.

Decided to install ROR on my new desktop, had one error which was:
System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning\mythloginserviceconfig.xml'

Fixed this by just using the unpacked version so I was able to see my account's characters after launching.
However, when I select a character I get the loading screen for about 8-15 seconds and the game crashes with no freezing or error messages. Not sure what is causing this, even made a new character to make sure it wasn't an issue with an existing one. Same thing happened.

I used the mega (english) download link, going to try the torrent when I have another chance to download the game again too see if that corrects the issue.

I was wondering if this is a known problem and if there are any current fixes. I was unable to find this specific one browsing the technical issue forums.

NOTES: I've tried disabling my firewall, restarting my PC, downloading the packed version of ROR launcher and unpacking it into folder after deleting the older one. Nothing changed still crashed after selecting a character.

Turns out the solution was disabling the read only option of the file
