Marauder Appearance Change Bug

This has only begun happening recently, I remember this bug being a thing for a while back in live.

Basically when you shift mutations, your toon's entire appearance changes to a new person. It doesn't always happen when I first log on, but after I join an SC or a zone to a new front/IC, it will happen until I relog. Which is annoying, I like how my character looks :)

Tried recreating with a level 1 mara, nothing happens, but on my level 10 when i have all the mutations available to me, the bug happens every time after I zone. And as I said, wasn't happening before, not sure if it's a bug that only happened because I leveled up, or something to do with a patch. Thanks for your time.

This can generally be reproduced in the following manner:

- Cast a mutation
- Die or zone with that mutation on
- Recast the same mutation

I would theorise that it's something to do with the way the client handles the Marauder mutation appearance, which is sent in an animation packet. If the same mutation is sent twice in a row, the entire appearance changes and not just the arm.

This is probably also related to the bug which causes other people to assume Marauder heads and arms - if that particular animation packet should ever affect a non-Marauder, their appearance is instantly ruined.

The original server sometimes also had problems like changing the marauder head and skin texture, but i don't know what triggered it (was very rare, as far as i remember).

I thought this bug was resolved at some point back on live. I could be wrong (but I can hope :)) I've also noticed that when I zone, I will still have my last mutation applied, but will have a normal human arm. Wondering if it is something that is related to the animation packet issue you mentioned, or something separate.

it's the same problem for dok buff, auras, and marauder's mutations

server do not sign as "actived" these things, mutation should be not usable while being actived, auras and dok buff should de-actived if press again, you can reconize this from the missing light ring around their icons when a skill is active, just look at dok channeling icon while you are in the mid of channeling, and you'll understand what i talk about

So I've found a work around fix, hope other maras see this.

I use gift of release prior to zoning, and once i do zone, I put on gift of Monstrosity first. I haven't done extensive testing with other combinations, because I'm lazy , and this works. Cheers :)

Hopefully this will help those who end up looking at the actual coding.
