Caps, soft caps and other associated stuff

I have questions (prefereably for server staff that knows exactly how it works) about how stat caps work on ROR.

So couple questions:

1. What are resistance soft caps and what those soft caps exactly do (once you cross them) ?

2. Are there hard resistance cap and if yes what armount?

3. What is armor soft cap and what does it do?

4. Is there armor hard cap and if yes what amount?


5. Are there caps for :

a) crit

b) avoidance (block, dodge, disrupt) and if yes what kind of (soft, hard, etc) and at what amount.


Thank in advance to any kind soul that will answer this and/or confirm this.

At the soft cap stats only contribute half as much.
At the hard cap thats it the max.
Resist is soft capped at 40% and hard capped at 75%
Armour and avoidance never had a cap.

Though all mitigation is limited to the 75% hard cap. So no matter the mitigation you will only mitigate a maximum of 75% any defences above that only defend against debuffs not damage.
After that other mitigation is applied like morales.
