Hey so I haven't tried RoR yet, only registered once the server was already down. I've been casually browsing the forums but I didn't quite see the answer I was looking for so I thought I'd ask.
I'm not much of a PvP player in MMOs. I mostly play them for the escape into an interesting world so most of my time tends to be spent PvE questing and exploring. Buuuut I saw a few mentions here and there that RoR is mostly focused on 6v6 and such?
Sorry if this information is somewhere I should see, but all I can see are posts about balance, bugs and tiers.
Thanks in advance!

Re: PvE
Tbh, we can develop rvr and pve at the same time, but pve changes consume a lot of time in general. I expect we will need several weeks to get even one dungeon ppayable. Keeping in mind that the upcoming Dungeons will be the first we have ever worked on. We need to familiar with the tools and possibilities first and never know which Problems may occure. And when a Dungeon is playable, a lot of testing will be necessary to get it just right.

Re: PvE
Im actually curious about testing for this private server. Do the Gms/Devs have a test server to try things out or do you develop and then have players test and tune based on response?saupreusse wrote:Tbh, we can develop rvr and pve at the same time, but pve changes consume a lot of time in general. Re: PvE
The main server is the test server, but the devs rarely seek input from the community- if you find a bug- you can report it and it will usually gets fixed within a week or so- but aside from that they don't seek much input.Djvader630 wrote: Im actually curious about testing for this private server. Nerf this, buff that threads will be locked as they are unproductive and lead to endless flame wars.
Just play and enjoy it.
you rarely see people doing PvE- aside from the r32-35? gear PQs- anyways.saupreusse wrote:Tbh, we can develop rvr and pve at the same time, but pve changes consume a lot of time in general.
