Key Binding Question

Hi, I've been playing awhile and I've started to feel like I cannot excess all of my relevant skills on my action bars. This is mostly because I have to use my pinky finger to hit Shift, Ctrl or Alt keys. I tried binding some of my skills to a combination of C+#, or one of my mouse buttons +#, only to find that it doesn't let me use those keys for combinations.

Has anyone found a way around this? I asked in /ad, but their advice was to buy a new mouse. Can't exactly say I'm interested in replacing a perfectly functional mouse for something that must have a simpler solution.

Just to clarify, my question is: Is there a way to bind my skills to a key combination that does not include Alt, Shift or Ctrl?

Not in-game, but there's very likely some Windows applications that will allow you to remap keys. Maybe even per-application.

There is an addon in game called Nerfd Buttons. It will allow you to chain/combine some different abilities based on certain criteria.

It has cleared up some hotbar space for me by doing some conditional setup on abilities. Example. On my Witch Elf, I have it setup to use Slice if I don't have position on the side or back of the target and use Agonizing Wounds when I do. One hotbar key for two abilities. It helps free up some space.
