Guild join spam?

I would have PM'd a GM about this, but I'm relatively new here and not able to PM yet for some reason.

I've been trying to happily grind away in the game (loving it btw) minding my own business and I keep getting daily guild join spam by one player and one guild in particular (I won't mention any names in public obviously). I have repeatedly asked him nicely to stop guild requesting me, I have no interest in his guild. Yet every day, I get 4-5 pop up boxes from him without fail.

I add this player to my iggy list on a daily basis now, as it doesn't seem to prevent him spamming me.

My questions are these:

1/ How long till I can properly complain about this daily annoyance. I can tell you as someone new here it's not a great way to start off.

2/ Why doesn't an ignored player stay ignored cross sessions?

3/ Why isn't there a setting to turn off guild invites? (there is in most other MMO's).

I know it's a private server, and not your code so I do understand coding issues.

Again, enjoying myself thoroughly. After playing some of the more "trendy" mainstream mmo's for ages, it's quite nice to jump onboard a private server again.

The easiest solution would be to join a guild you like tbh, the people I play with did that after a while just to get rid of annoying invites :/

I'll man up and say this is probably me with Black Toof Clan on Gazbot.

I'm super sorry if I invited you 2 times a day and you had to say no. Really I am sorry. It is 100% not my intention to make someone's gaming experience less then ideal and I am sorry for your annoyance. Annoying players is the opposite of my intentions.

I also don't want to have Gazbot be put on the ignore list especially amongst Greenskin players because I'd like greenskin players outside of my guild to join the premades i'll be forming.

I have been creating a list of people that I have asked to join and realized they have not and I'm not repeat asking those players to join the guild.

On live I had a lot of notoriety so I was able to rally people easily. Since I just realized WAR was back with RoR I don't have any notoriety. So I am using Black Toof Clan to explore hopefully warband level premade's to explore game mechanic's within a single race. I picked Greenskinz for this. I need lots of players to explore my idea's.

Everytime I spam recruit I get about 3 to 4 people that join. I usually get a positive reaction such as "Hey thanks for inviting me I really appreciate it." So I am getting positive results and reactions from it.

I know that some of those players just like the guild tag or the idea of a greenskinz guild. I know that some of those players don't want to participate in my premades that i'll be forming. I know there are probably players out there that don't want to be part of my guild but want to be part of my premades that i'll be forming. I have made a mistake and Spam recruited people with my main. I have also made a mistake of repeat asking the same players to join when they repeatedly said no and did not take note of those players.

Please note that human beings respond to massive actions and don't really respond well to asking for handouts.

Case in point. If your at a bar and confidently and pleasantly talk to twenty plus women a night directly you will get positive results. Some will like you some will hate you. But if you constantly hound one woman over and over again she may become annoyed and you can tell she is annoyed by her body language and what-not. Then you change your tactics or just leave them alone and talk to the other sea of women out there that will be responsive to your advancements.

This is whats happening here. I can't read other people's body language through asking people to join my guild. I don't know if people are annoyed with me asking them to join especially with the positive results i'm getting. Its a failure of internet communication. I'll continue to add to the list of people I know not to ask to join the guild.

There is an mirc channel you can inquire on - I'm sure you will get an answer there regarding length. Surely in future you can use /5 and paste your guild link / message there - avoiding a ban in future for your plans for Green domination
