Sometimes winning isn't necessarily a function of a person or a "sides" skill or effort, but a function of what guilds or group of friends can produce a dominant force at any given time. Sometimes this span of time can run the course of several hours.

What I propose is rewarding effort as well as rewarding whatever side can produce the ROFLstomp pre-mades. Rewarding (1) emblem for every 250 points will add layers of goals to both sides. Currently to win an emblem you just have to win the SC. That implies that the dominant side is only required to put in the minimum effort to win. With the 250 point system, if the weaker side can manage to score 250 points, they receive an emblem as well. This could motivate the dominant side to increase their effort level to deny the losers an emblem. It would also incentivize maximum effort from the side that is obviously going to lose.

reward for achieving something, i can live with. but never reward losing a sc.

Good idea. Either reward emblems for certain goals, or just increase droprate from players. Very often the 'losing' side beats the 'winning' side in kills.

At 100% player droprate, 1 person has close to 8.5% chance to get a emblem (if everyone rolls need, which is most often). I would encourage that change.

Many times scoring 250 points is an achievement. In lost battles, many achievements can be identified such as diverting resources from other battles, holding a position long enough for another position to be supplied etc. Actual wars ars are replete with "lost' battles that achieve surreptitious wins or gains. These achievements give soldiers morale and courage in the face of insurmountable odds. It's a fact of warfare. The system I am proposing provides a better rewards system for effort and achievement. It could even be (1) emblem for every 350 points and (1) for a win. Same result but more effort required by the losers.

Looking on history Id say 2-0 would be more common then 2-1 even at 250 = emblem in the SCs I've seen

I believe the roll is done within the party that gets the DB. Is this correct?
