I gave gork smash, NIDF and YMM a go last night in scenarios. As usual we were seriously lacking healing, but it wasn't just that. Sometimes we had one really solid healer but it never seemed enough. Moving guard, challenging, snaring and knocking melee, NIDF healers. Nothing seemed to push us towards a victory.
I tried running full damage tactics with gork smash, SYG, loudmouth and Ave another one... but my damage was still quite pitiful. YMM makes me almost immortal but I'm starting to feel more and more dependent on three hit combo. It feels kinda useless without it. Any amount of knock downs, silences, punts and NIDF was not enough to put a dent in the order melee train last night.
Strangely, even with insanely low damage, I still came second or third damage on our team in some scenarios. I assume this is largely because I usually don't get focused when people realise I have YMM. I really don't want to give up YMM because of how amazing it is for holding chokes in oRvR. I love that shield-wall tank feeling. That's like 90% of the reason I'm playing a tank. I just feel so useless in scenarios without three hit combo. Against proper DPS players, most of which seemed to be on order last night, I can barely scrape 10% of the damage done of a proper DPS.
I hate constantly blaming lost scenarios on others. I always want to find more and better ways to contribute to scenarios but I really don't want to lose YMM either. I can hold front lines and soak damage and do a few big crits with smash and SYG, but the moment I get ignored, guard just doesn't seem enough to keep the squishies alive even with challenge cooldown management. Those white lions and slayers just leap on our healers and explode them through challenge and guard.

Ymm is useless in sc. Thc is a must imo.
Just run with two specs, one for sc one for rvr. And your healer woes can be fixed by forming a group

You only need one spec, and Closetgoblin to swap gear/tactics/morales depending on what you are doing.

respeccing 6+ times a week, that's 30g, thats selling one third of a gem in the AH,.. or selling two really meh gems.
If you want a build you can play constantly just go for THC / cookie cutter and pick up the crit tactic on the way. that way you are flexible for small scale / large scale.
imho waaagh outperforms only in a premade bomb wb.
in all other cases Tree Hit.

I actually seriously got mixed up. By YMM I actually meant Can't hit me. I got the names the wrong way round. I tend to skip out on YMM most of the time. Do we know if it affects keep lords and such? It seems like it's best used when tanking AI enemies... but yeah, it's not really that great for scenarios.
But yes... It's Can't hit me that I really want to keep for oRvR. It's amazing for shield walling. I swapped back to full tuffest up to CHM and the rest in boss for a keep lord last night and just kept the build.
One point I forgot is that spamming savin' me hide actually massively reduces incoming magic damage on the group. While Three Hit Combo obviously provides way more damage, I forgot the value that SMH spam actually has, especially against BW-heavy order teams. Don't SM's and WH's do quite a high amount of magic damage too? at least we know SM's do spirit damage.
I put the rest in boss for running da greenest shout and picked up big brawlin' along the way just for running down order groups more easily. I feel even without any serious damage, the combination of guard, challenge, SMH spam and da greenest resistances is really good for the team. If I ever do get focused by silly order, I can throw up CHM and negate a lot of the incoming damage for the healers. All blocked damage is damage the healers don't have to heal that they otherwise would have.
Not bothering with we'z bigger. The premise of it is amazing, but it just doesn't seem worth bothering with until it stacks with da greenest at least. The radius is also freaking tiny, according to the tooltip. Would be much more tasty if it stacked and had a larger radius.

It would be worth testing whether or not it works against SM's damage. I know that Malekith's Bulwark (last time I tested it with Rememberme's SM) didn't nullify any of the SM's dmg.
