In all fairness, I rarely hit 1000Mbps proper, nobody does. Even Google Fiber to the door averages 900-950 in our tests. I just ran a speed test, not stellar tonight but the node must be fairly full. WOW's official highest offering is over provisioned 600Mbps, which usually caps around 700Mbps. But I am on the external DOCSIS engineering team for WOW and my pipe is uncapped at the theoretical node-maximum per customer right now until the new HyperSpeed lines get dropped.
