I dont know if its useless, but it's not very good. It might be alright for PvE.

When you are going for ST Burst AP doesnt = more burst. Especially more AP than you already have access to.

Maybe it's better for an AoE sorc, dont play that way much so I dont know.

I think the OP has a point, though they are being a little extreme about it. Bad set bonuses arent new, it's not the end of the world.

Yea I really just have to wait until Invader comes out with all the bonuses to see. I hope instead of AP it has Weaponskill so I can ignore armor on my auto attacks and get those juicy crits = more damage.

I just wanted to add that I'm in agreement that the Clairty proc isn't great.

There is a wide power gap in the game between different classes on their proc's and it can range anywhere from "That's ridiculously strong" to "That's utterly useless".

To me, it comes down to intent. If it is intentional that certain classes get worse effects for balancing purposes, I'm fine with it. If it's just an unintentional error, perhaps not realizing how bad some of the effects are, then that's a different story, and something to think about going forward.

A couple of sets with not so great proc's won't ruin the game, we'll see what the next couple of sets have.
