+1 Guards and Lord that get boosted with AAO
+1 Capture flag and LORD moved to top floor of the keep (AAO 300)
A reasonable RvR system that could make the majority happy http://imgur.com/HL6cgl7

about what guard u all are talkin abaut? those guards in top of keep where u can hide if some enemy is in keep? or respawn point in keep? if abaut respawn point u are talkin i vote for it that we can defend keep while door is up. its more intresting than u can defend or attack keep . empty keep is boring .

Old style with guards and keep claiming was the best, none of this flipping keeps for renown nonsense we saw towards the end of war, that being said the only thing i would add to the old system is, only being able to cap a keep when the door is down and having the resources carrier system to make battle field objectives more important.

I dunno... i always enjoyed the "you die = you respawn at your wc" thing. Made it much more exciting and fun to get to your keep. Enemies would patrol postern doors, and if you died close to the keep you would have to pray a healer was in range to rez you.

If you ask me, i really hope we get a 1.3.6 (or earlir) version of RvR.

That to, commiting suicide to respawn at your keep is just bad mechanics.

Theres pros and cons to guards.

You cant ninja keeps as easily. Unless aao removes guards.

It does give something to do on those regular occasions that a keep is empty. Running up to click a flag. Particularly in mid tiers where it happened alot. Just felt underwhleming.
Also particularly in lower tiers it was great to defend against superior numbers in an upgraded keep.
Miss the days of holding out for upgraded guards or tankwall at door for respawn.

From my experience the game was better 3/4 years before the end before they started removing features.

What do you mean with keeping resource carriers?

If RCs level your keep then there is no point in claiming them. Also, with the old way zones locked, BOs were CRUCIAL. People had to coordinate to protect them, and the enemy realm could attack one in full force (avoiding the zerg).

Yes, some people called it "Waithammer" but to me it was way better than "Doorhammer where you do city 4-5 times a day".

Totally agree doorhammer made endgame feel really common place. Sacking a city is winning the game. It should be a real effort that takes a motivated realm to achieve.

u mean those stars 4 and 5 so u can unlock rams with 5stars 2 rams same time? yes its prety nice to fight for resources. latter they add so u can destroy keep dor with canon. and funny its u cant reach canon with defending balistas. its better to remove that the canon can destroy dor.
