I agree that when adding a DoT in the DaGreen tree I would replace it with Yer A Weaklin'. Though I was also thinking maybe it is nice to add a World of Pain like effect instead of a standard DoT to give the shaman a bit more burst. Adding another "standard" DoT is obviously a nice buff for the shammy, but I would like to see the shaman have different qualities compared to the AM. Giving them another DoT only brings them closer together. My WoP like effect could also be placed on maybe the current heal debuff or Gork's Waaagh. The latter is a fun skill, but an AoE damage skill doesn't really fit into the dps Shaman Kit, making it a bit lackluster.

Empathise with the above : Shaman is more burst -orientated than the AM, which is more sustained. However i think an extra dot would help a lot until more measures (if deemed necessary ) come into play, and may help the shaman keep up pressure dmg.

I guess they would need client access to make it into a WoP like effect.

I'm very much in favor of this. Shaman could definitely use another DoT/buff to bring them more in line with AM (who have vastly superior damage output). It also fits well within the Green spec, which is supposed to be buff/debuff-centric anyways. Additionally, DPS Shaman (Gork) was already fairly underwhelming and since experimental mode, it is even more so. This would be a good fix until more things are possible on a technical level.

A few days ago it was mentioned that Path of Da Green might get shuffled around a bit. Maybe move Scuse Me into core and have Get'n Smarter put in its place, at the cost of either Yer' a Weaklin or You'z Squishy. Both these skills are fairly lackluster right now and often not worth it adding them into rotation, in my opinion.

You want to give Shaman a WoP. Ha. Right. With its burst kiting and self healing that doesnt sound at all op.

This is the problem with community input some of it is self serving. Dont forget shaman have the strongest toughness debuff in the game which give it better assist dps than am.

If i remember correctly Rain Lord used to AoE debuff Int only, and Yer a Weakling used to ST debuff Strength and deal damage and build mechanic etz. And Getting Smarter used to be a massive Int steal of like 480 at 15 mastery points and DoT effect.

So if you gonna make a trade here i would sugest Yer a Weakling.

You can calculate it out of Torque and the op screen, op is level 38 and steals 114 (as in, 13 points into da green) Torque is level 41 and its 123.

So considering that, a base skill without points into da green should be 75, less than a pot.

Getting smarter was just an int steal. It was instant cast and was there to setup for a burst rotation. It was removed when shaman were given better kiting with an instant ap steal as really a int steal for less than a pot was useless. If anyone cares to remember the shaman ap steal used to be a 2s cast on a 20s cooldown. Reason being originally Shaman were a kiting heal class stationary damage class. The opposite of the AM. Players seem to want to give them kiting damage on top of kiting healing, burst and better debuffs. We seem to be going down the master of all route again.
As usual the reasons behind changes tend to be forgotten.
