Bloodbath was postponed indefinitely due to there being only 2/3 premades interested/too much hassle trying to get certain groups to agree to anything (people putting others on ignore when asking about availability/so much as a mention of the tournament - aka not worth the investment), couldn't be bothered leading horses to water. Not being able to field a regular 6 oneself dissuaded one from pursuing with such a venture, too, but alas! it wasn't to be.
The fact that certain guilds were capitalising on things that were blatantly overperforming did play its role in 'prolonging' the event, though.
Agree re meta, WL definitely doesn't fit in. But to be completely honest, the 'meta' was only needed against one rr70+ guild with the same players, hence why durp comps are more common due to being inherently more fun.
DnD farmed their gear, beat us once with 65+ toon. Gear and RR is easy to comeby in this game if you know how to properly farm AAO.
We played with same for over a 1 year, SAME people. ALWAYS practicing, you think all of that was overperforming FoDG or coordination?
It was equally OP for both sides. Dont try to put off your failures on OP game mechanics, cause that is what META is.
I remember fighting/beating you with 2 zealots aswell.
No offense, but it also helps that your guild has the 2 best healers in the game I don't do 6v6, but I watch all of you 6v6ers vids, and Hyro is head and shoulders above everyone else on zealot and RP.
I agree that practice trumps game stuff... but i mean... you don't win the superbowl with the Cleveland Browns...
@OP, knight is best for new player. IB is the most fun. SM is an ugly elf. And that is all there is to it.
Farfadet, RR72 shaman Volgograd, RR80 IB
