This was a painful set of troubleshooting.

z0x was on a public wifi hotspot provided by his town. WAR had been working for some time, but stopped abruptly. Being unable to ping the server from his device meant there was something blocking it, but no issue with the anti-virus or firewall. I was also unable to do tracrt commands to any site, which is really something broken. I don't think the user was at fault, but rather some over-zealous admin noticed unwanted traffic and locked it down pretty tight.

Due to some of the regulations in France, securing a VPN was difficult, and even with a workaround, it seems like his connection blocked that access as well.

Today he received his normal internet access and was able to resume playing without a problem. Sometimes, there's really nothing we can do. This was one of those times.
