One problem is the xrealm: GM's won't integrate it because of the few guys that can't join the AAO team... But for real: a few join for AAO and all others cross realms for greater rewards on the locking side! That makes this game feel annoying. I started 1 month ago on order after 1 year of break but already thinking about looking for a new game... And making PvE on destro in PvP area shows up that this game isn't mine.

You get NO greater rewards on the bigger side. The lock means nothing against small opposition. As underdog you can make more rp with kills than the enemy gets with zone lock. Not to mention the much higher bag roll chance.
Stop spreading this false statement.

Not to mention the fact that raw numbers is the number one most important thing in this game, and all those oh so special AAO rewards mean jack **** because you literally are unable to kill a single enemy since they have multiple warbands will tanks and healers and you're alone.

Now, if AAO gave large defense and damage buffs, on the other hand....things might be different.

What a nonsense, there are hardly and premade warbands left and the pug warbands react slow to orders. When you have a small group and play well, you can roam around and get significantly more rewards and currency drops than players in that warband.
The difficulty is usually to find the right people for group but this doesn't mean there are no tanks or heals in zone.

AAO is nothing bad, in fact I like it more than if the enemy would have it.

I level a WH right now and went from level 17 to 24 yesterday with AAO and a bit of questing, renown rank went from 17 to 29.
Just for killing two afk choppers with 300%? AAO in BFP I got over 21k renown.

Even with AAO and not a solo class you can always do something, if you are DD get a heal and tank and make a small roam group and/or que for scenarios. Play it smart and roam around, purge the afkers, cut the tails of warbands, kill the straglers trying to join their keep siege, before they realise you already got some kills and vanish in the air.

People are always so pessimistic about AAO.

As I just showed you can indeed make some kills, even if you are alone.

If no other full tanks/healers are available you can have great success even with odd compositions, take dps healers or offtanks that many people like to play, throw 3 or 4 together and you have a wild bunch to create some mischief.
Yesterday In praag my poor WH got ganked by 3 dps chosens who ravaged me into outer heaven.
I even found this to be the more fun to play, than a full 2-2-2 group, even if you might die one or two times

Also what I don't like about the op (and other topics alike) is this destro bias acusation.
This has become something like 9/11 truthers or what? Even if I don't like most of the dev/moderators, do people really think there is a giant evil plot going on to make chopper the next steven seagal?
Was already stated in that balance topic that it will be reworked or whatever.
Also a little tip: If the chopper starts swinging the arms above his head looking like a small child on a tantrum: taunt him and interrupt his pull (even if this warrants only for smallscale as you might not be able to see it in the zerg).

I'd strongly recommend that anyone who feels like making a post that essentially amounts to "the other side has better stuff" to play both sides roughly equal amount of time. It can be a real eye-opening experience when you get yourself absolutely destroyed by classes (previously) on your side you thought were weak, when you see the exact same bitching and accusations of the other side being OP in the public channels regardless where you play. Oh, and you lose some of that bias you build up being killed by the same classes all the time since, well, it'll be everything then. When you get the "I lose in PUG scenarios constantly because the other side has premades/healers/tanks/whatever" impression, or the general incompetence of your fellow players... the list goes on. Anything negative or positive you likely think is exclusive to the side you play on, you'll experience first-hand on the other side as well. And if there happens to be some ACTUAL imbalance, well, you might be able to filter out the little truth of all the misconceptions you'll learn to have been false.

Last I checked you lose all your contribution when you switch sides (or even characters on the same side) and when you outnumber the enemy you get a penalty to your loot role when the zone flips, not understanding how that = greater rewards (not to mention the renown bonus you get for kills when u have AAO). When I'm trying to gear a toon I would always much rather be on the side that is outnumbered. The crying about xrealming is rly blown outta proportion IMO, people seem to forget that a lot of the time people logout from the losing side cuz they lose interest or get discouraged (or go to SCs or PvE), not to immediately hop onto the winning side.

Order massively depended on its top classes on live. Slayer being a dps you could build a wb around. Kotbs with all its crit buffing.
Add to the big balance changes that give new tactics that werent in the original have all been on destro. SH becoming a tanky incredibly mobile debuffer and Choppa being able to break up formations. Order doesnt have an equivalent and in the case of things like Des now having a pouncing class and orders kiting classes having no speed proc tactic. Its just changes that the opposite faction didnt have a counter built into on live.

Live order were the more mobile faction but generally more fragile. Here des have become the more mobile faction aswell.

On top of that i feel that Order classes have been nerfed in comparison to destruction classes (might also be a lack of buffing compared to destro) the very strong wl first became a weaker shadow of marauder and now is fleshed to vanilla state.

i feel destro has - i.e. with marauder (solo, grp and wb rampager) and squig overhaul (solo and wb) and choppa pulls such a massive Advantage (compare those classes to wl, sw and slayer) which adds to the already annoying Population disbalance.
it never seemed to be so bad, the last few weeks have not been enjoyable….

The Balance team is on it to make WL viable again for warbands without sacrificing ST damage for smallscale.
Once it arrives on the dev server it's maybe there for a bit to get numbers into the line and than pushed to live.

As you may know, or read, in the news post from Yaliskah, there were structurial changes on how the team works or more like will work in the furture. Teambuilding, Restructuration etc. takes time.

Currently there is the exam phase for universities on top of it for a few ppl. on the team, which slows down certain processes.

It hopefully is just bad luck that this time of disbalance is also a time where u Need to restructure and so on. I surely hope so.

In my opinion it's less the aao but more the grindy, formulaic style of rvr.

Form blob, farm bos till 2/3 stars, farm keep defenders, kill lord.

It's boring and most of the good gear are in rvr so it's mandatory.

I'll probably play more when the new gear comes out but I only find scs to be fun tbh

The Team was fast enough to quickly take the WL Aza made away and revert it to something the few soloers on NA time could use, while coming out in force saying they dont cater to anything less than 6man. While this overall revert screwed up balance more than anything, and then leaving us in this waiting situation for more than a month now?

Yeah im not playing as much as I did, simply because of the changes and lack of the same if you want to know why order players are not to be found.
