The only way to solve this would be a ready up, instead of a join system. Where you get a rdy pop up for the scenario instead of a join button.

Now what does the rdy button do. At first nothing it just counts how many players are ready. Threrefore it only starts the scenario and actually teleports the players into it when both sides are ready (6 or 12) otherwise if players are not ready it should look for more until there is an equal amount of players on both sides.

So for "ready up" you should be out of combat but for sc join it should just brute force you out of the fight.
What could also be done is that you get deflagged and unable to fight as long as you are flagged "ready".

However the match will still be imbalanced if players just leave the scenario after it started and it doesn't help if players disconect while loading into the scenario.

Not a programmer here but since it differs quite a bit from live I guess this could be difficult.

SC's are often a crap-shoot, but as you said that is part of the charm. Yesterday I was in an SC where Destro had six Doks versus our one RP. We still managed to win. I also recall an SC from days gone by where Destro had one Dok, sole healer, versus our four AM's and a WP. Destro won. Pugging in you just never know.

Indeed one day i did 5 Pug SCs in a row with almos the same people we had no healers but a few slayers and all 5 we won, and not just by a little they were 500 to 0 for th emost part or 500 to 80. All about how you choose to deal with things.

I am not sure if that eases your pain but on order it´s like this:

Join a scenario

oh great we got 1 healer and one tank

then i open the scenario window and recognize that destro has 4 healers, 4 tanks and the rest dd´s.

order lost

Matchmaking is horrible to non existent, it was that way also on live. Live with it or don´t play sc´s, switching sides will not change anything.

Tanks are certainly more common on Dessie side.

I don't mind those scenarios.. just means you either get a quick six emblems or you spend ~2 minutes of your life getting one. I'm much more frustrated when the SC bugs out and doesn't become imbalanced when it's 9v12, especially on a map like Howling Gorge or Logrin's Forge where it takes forever to end and since you're down three people you can't do anything. Only happens rarely though

I only hate scs where people think they are the best ever because they ignored objectives and are camping the wc while trying to talk **** and failling royally at it.

Well that and when i we do this little game where if more than 2 guys are attacking someone, you HAVE to attack someone else, assisting is somehow not honorable at all.

You see it all the time in factory. Team camps in steamtank while dessie cap other two flags and feed enough kills to make our morons think they are winning

At least you get one emblem/medallion for joining- before you didn't even get that.
