Did someone knows why so expensive for a dye ? Is it kinda special dye that do something?

With a little bit of digging in Killboard items, looks like its a Seas of Slaughter event dye. The event was 2 years ago and hasn't reappeared, hence the dye is rare and not available any other way atm. Is it worth 1k gold per..? You decide

indeed from seas of slaughter event as other poster wrote. as for if it's doing "something special", it is a specular dye so on certain armor pieces it can appear to be shiny.

other than that the price is more likely just related to rarity and lack of supply which leads to the few players who saved some posting them for extremely high prices.
