Any tips to make lion pet unclickable/untargetable as destro?

Some SC have multiple WL and those lions have big hitboxes making targeting/clicking difficult, cycle enemy is also a pain and unreliable sometimes going from one pet to another.. as a caster target selection is very clunky with many lions around it takes precious seconds away from getting on the right target ..

Are there addons to make pets unclickable/ untargetable, like exclude them from targeting. Or any other ways to deal with this, any tips? I know assist exist, just not very useful in T2 pug SC.

And how do you guys react/target on a WL jumped on you, use nearest enemy? (again sometimes it targets the pet, and taking another action is a matter of life and death) or clicking?
