I already know what the lot of you are going to say:
Get on discord and make a premade.
But unfortunately that comment has become unimportant.
The fact of the matter is this NO amount of discord/teamspeak/skype or whatever VC you use to do SC premade can save you from a group of ORDER/DESTRO that are in thier high RR 70s~80s unless you must be hacking the game which will not go unnoticed.
There is NO argument to justify pitting low RR players with HIGH rank RR players there is just none.
Only thing there is left to say is "DONT QUE FOR SCs then which is counter productive.
The one and only solution to this is to implement a renoun rank gate for the SCs by doing so thise who are of a certain RR rank will be qued with those of the same rank group. The lot of you will say it will minimize pops for SC but truthfully i would rather wait 10hrs for fair fight than leave a sc after getting killed a million times with just 200 RP.
This is very sad and not FUN at all.
Now i already know the flames are incoming but im fire proof so have at it.

Of course there is and you answered it yourself ->grease wrote: Sun Oct 28, 2018 12:02 pm There is NO argument to justify pitting low RR players with HIGH rank RR players there is just none.
I wouldn't wait for 10 hours.
I go even further and think that there is not enough progression as is.

Re: Being Farmed in SC
Suspect there is a problem with sc queue population to allow for rr matching
Re: Being Farmed in SC
The most common misconception is, that high rr turns you into a good player and that you lose fights because of renown gap.
Find better excuses for losing in sc.

Re: Renown Rank Unbalance in SC
The thread has been renamed to be less provocative.
Please, stick to this topic now.
Do you feel that RR unbalance is such a major factor which is leading to constant lose streak (aka being farmed)?

Re: Renown Rank Unbalance in SC
I'd argue that for tank or healer, you can do solid SC performance even if you just +40 and have something like Ruin gear at best - assuming good positioning and decent guarding and proper CC usage, despite low RR you can perform quite well.
For DPS, there will be a huge gap between someone who is 40/40 and at best in Ruin or in partial Devastator or partial Merc/Anni vs rr 70+ dps players in BiS gear with BiS weapons and full 29 Mastery Point specs, whilst having enough renown ranks to get best possible offensive stats whilst having enough points to get decent defensive stats as well if so deciding.
The difference between 40+ and 70+ dps classes is almost a gap as wide as between a T3 and T1 player - and if for some reason, your team has far more "lowbies" versus higher ranked enemies, then yeah, the probability of losing is somewhat higher for sure.
Obviously exceptional players can make it work on even lower ranked chars and good teamplay can compensate for a lot, but having 30-40 less renown and missing 3-4 mastery points does make a certain difference.
Another entirely different issue is then why are premades joining Scs to just farm unorganized enemies and why doesn't the game have enough players left to ensure both sides would have enough premades to prevent a total pugslaughter...

Re: Renown Rank Unbalance in SC
This is still a group based game. You should have post a solution how low lvl/low renown players can continue to play together with high lvl/high renown player in a "premade" (and even then I am against this proposal, for different reasons). At this state your "proposal" is bullshit/troll post not worth arguing about.

Re: Renown Rank Unbalance in SC
If the game had a population of 2k+ then you could afford to filter scenarios more thoroughly so as to make for the 'fairest' experience possible. I do empathise with your concerns but, alas, that is the way the cookie crumbles when we have a very small population.
If pops took even longer to pop then I can say with 100% certainty it would be ggwpbb time for many of my guildies.
