[Bug] Abilities going on CD without actually working

I notice that about ~33% of the time I use Heartseeker on my WE it doesn't actually work, but goes on CD. The ability doesn't show up in the combat log, so doesn't get parried or blocked, but it does sometimes play the animation.
This is really game breaking as it can decide battles very easily.
I have had it with other abilities as well, like sacrificial stab, I believe it needs to have a positional requirement to get this issue.

Where are you playing from?
I play from Australia with 350ish ping and I find this happens to me if I mash my buttons too fast. Irritating but you get used to it.

Same, playing from Sydney (previously NL, never had the issue). Around 350 to 400 ping.

Have the same problem and my ping is around 14 to 29ms. Made a bugreport long time ago, but i dont think anyone knows what exactly the issue is yet...

Any chance this could be re-prioritized in the bugtracker/for the next cycle? Seems to me like a very game breaking issue especially because most positionals are important cds. Just today i lost different 1v1s or other fights just because my knockdown didn't work.

Really annoying, especially spells with cast times are prone to going on CD without actually casting, for example if the cast completes but the target is just barely in range. It's fine with spammable spells, but sucks loosing kills because knockdowns and snares bug out.

I might be able to replicate the issue as this often happens to me when I try to chain two actions together in quick succession right after gcd such as double potting or trying to attack whilst pressing my snare break.

Given Sau' is experiencing the same issue with a good latency, do you by chance use any outdated addons?

Castsequencer, Nerfedbuttons, various custom Actionbars - anything that interfaces and interferes with the usage of abilities. Chances are that the activation and invocation of CDs/GCDs is a visual bug on your end, rather than a serverside issue.

Whenever I play my Fireclown and use Castsequencer, there is a 3/10 chance of an ability breaking the sequence; invoking both, the GCD and the respective CDs, without anything firing off - hence I am using Castsequencer for just two strings (Dots, and Sear/Burning Iron, to save some hotkeys).

Yes I do use nerfed buttons for double potting and using some non gcd triggering abilities. You think this can cause it? Any fix? Or just completely stop using it?

When I started on RoR I didn't notice, for a very long time, that NerfedButtons comes with the client download... mind you, the moment I stumbled onto it in the addon options I disabled it - lo and behold: a considerable cut to the fps drops and overall clunkyness of interactions was the result.

I'd highly suggest you use Castsequencer instead of Nerfedbuttons, if you need a sequencer or something to cut hotkeys with. The huge negative impact (lack of memorization of abilities, CDs and mechanics) from NerfedButtons aside, it is a massive resource hog. From my unterstanding, every single ability useage, every targetswap and change to your state, aswell as the state of your enemy, is ran through the NerfedButton script, whether you actually (actively and/or extensively) use it or not ~ I highly doubt a bad latency and NerfedButton's constant calls pair up well.
