IB vs SM

Of the two, which is better solo and small man?

For high damage is SM. For more resistance and average damage is the IB.

For solo, SM is probably easier because you have pretty good base damage on your own and good self defense with WODS. For small man, IB all the way.

IB is better for solo and small man in my opinion.
SM only brings damage.

For Solo Roam i say IB . Now if you want more flat dmg go SM

IB is better for solo IMO. Really good regen and self buffs. SM bubble spec is great at 1v1 but I think IB is gonna be a better all rounder. IB grumble spec with cave win is probably one of the best solo/duo classes in the game. Very self sufficient, has pretty much every relevant buff in the game besides resists, and has some good burst when heavy blow, binding grudge, cave in, and earthshatter (with an AA in there too why not) all hit at once.

IB at both.
For 1v1 or duel its a toss: IB will win vs shaman and AM because of Avalanche and PK. SM is better vs deftards mara and the likes.

For small group or 1vX IB is better simply because of Healdebuff and punt .

Both classes have good buffs and sick regen if you gear and spec for it.

I would go for IB for solo roaming, but for group play SM by quite a bit.

I haven't played either IB or SM, so I can't justify any opinion. But, as a quick aside, isn't IB based pretty heavily on having an Oathfriend, so would excel in duo+ rather than solo?

I feel like he'd be heavily gimped in solo since there is no Oathfriend target.

The only thing that being solo gimps would be the rate that your grudges build, you still have very powerful burst and sustainability as solo IB. Rising Anger helps here.
