Best performing aoe class

Eh, Slayer still brings a lot more AOE utility outside of damage. I'd take a good IB+Slayer for No Escape, Shatter Limbs, ID, etc. over a SW in a niche setup.

1 or 2 slayers are enough for that.

Sure, but if we're talking about strictly head to head what's the best AOE DPS class and BW is excluded, Slayer is next. You might be able to fit in a SW but then you get into warband setups

HTL works, cheap d/d from renown and anything with any willpower disrupts most attacks. So it was BW its now SL.

Well now things are just getting ridiculous, BW and slayer don't even play the same game, BW is just that far ahead.

Agreed from a risk/reward perspective BW is still the preferred DPS over Slayer by a wide margin. Plenty of low disrupt targets to AOE off of in a destro wb

I have to disagree. Dunno how or why people overlook morales, or the fact that maras are a part of the bomb meta. Both are big reasons why running slayer heavy setups would be a bad idea.

That's what I'm saying.. two Slayers is plenty for your warband. Link them with two beefy IBs and you have a wrecking crew. Supplement with BW and pull engy. Purple rain

SL and SW at same level AOE DPS. But in different way
SW more profitable at field, SL more profitable as AOE debuffer, and AOE DPSer in close combat.
For example, I was able to do 700К+ damage on sс Praag for SW and SL both, but that was before the nerf M2 and CQ.


When you take on SW debuff from SH to reuse skills, it destroys your DPS for a few seconds, Destro has similar situation with Slayer
